It's blowing air out of one of the intakes instead of sucking it in.

Any ideas. Thanks

well I will say this much, you might have a future in making youtube videos, you have a better speaking voice than most guys doing repair & mechanic's instructional videos, and I like the camera you are using, much better resolution than a lot of folks, what kind of camera is it?

as far as the compressor, there are a lot of good pumps for sale on craigslist in large cities for a song, for example, buy an older compressor with a bad motor or one that has an old tank that costs too much to recertify, and then you have grabbed the good pump for a song!

and think about doing more videos, you seem to be a natural at it!

gasket or cracked casting?

Niether.

It I initally made a mistake when I said it wasn't the read valve. It was the one under the valve plate.

What are you seeing in the casting that I am not. You're scarring me man.

LOL. Thanks for the kind words.

Now it's a funny thing with the camera. As I watched the videos I thought they looked good too. Did you watch them in HD. They're actually from my Samsung Note 2 cell phone. ;)

Whats funny is sometimes it takes really good pictures. Sometimes they ****. This thing seems to need a lot of light. I was surprised that the videos turned out so well in my garage at night even.

Did you find the rest of my videos on youtube. I did some on the harbor freight motorcycle tire changer. I just started making them and I'm having a ball. :p

I just wish I could figure out how to share my channel. Got any ideas.

Since you liked them.

Let's see if this gets you to my channel.

Geez, some of you guys get sidetracked easily. What started as a compressor problem turned into a how to make a good YouTube video :lol_hitti

This is not rocket science. If your compressor is leaking through the air intake then it is the reed valves, cracked cyl or head , or gasket. Those reed valves look rusty and pitted. Clean them up with a scotch bright pad, clean the cyl where they seal, put oil on the valves and reassemble. Check carefully for cracks first, where the valves seat in the cyl and the head.
