Did some Googling but GJ is generally faster and accurate.
Who do you guys buy your stainless hardware from ?
I need a few "off the walls" as far as hinges, weldable gate-pin type hinges, non-keyed locks, grommets, etc.Yeah. I can make it all but man would it be nice (and cheaper for the client) to buy.
The project is a work airboat to go out and pour concrete columns in a tropical swamp-lowland forest.
Slide to road, grab one yard, slide to site. Grueling.
Did it in Flas 'glades 100 years ago with a full track. A full track won't take the terrain where this job is.

Check eBay. I have gotten good prices on small quantities of fasteners and even some hardware (commercial duty hinges). Some of the eBay sellers are small manufacturers/distributors and have their own web sites with a larger selection. Albany County Fasteners

I have also had excellent luck with my local fastener store. Tradesman Fastener & Tool, in Redford, MI. Great people.

IMHO, McMaster-Carr, Bolt Depot, etc are overpriced especially for small quantities.

For just about anything you need try mscdirect.com. MSC has just about anything you could think of in their catalog and usually it's overnight shipping for just the ground shipping charge. By just about anything I mean they have about 100 pages of just drill bits, etc. May be higher than some places but if your time is worth anything one source without spending an hour looking elsewhere makes them one of the cheapest sources out there. There catalog is about 4,000 to 5,000 pages and they will send you one if you request it.

The romantic hills of central Umbria, Italy,
Usually I'll default to the (Mc)Master of all that is good and cool and card-limitable (Their link is already posted above) but I have also had to resort to Fastenal (www.fastenal.com) or the MSC Big Book (www.mscdirect.com)... I've had some odd stuff I've had to source from Granger (www.granger.com) but usually one of the former 3 will have it.

And if not, I know a machinist 3 doors down from my 9 to 5, and another one a *lot* closer (if she ever quits hanging out here all the time... :D)

I heard Amazon has something called Amazon Supply, but I've never used them. Mc Master and Fasternal keep me broke enough as it is!!!!
