This compressor, from what I can tell, is rebadged for a bunch of companies but made by Sanborn. Price normally ranges from $490 to in the $600s, depending on the badge and paint, but they seem to get good reviews. I've got one waiting for pick up to put in my garage now.

That's the one I have. Except the one I got is a rebadged "Industrial Air". Says Made in USA. 13 CFM @90. 155 psi max. Good compressor. I feel robbed, I paid $649.00 for mine from Acme "on sale" with free freight shipping. Dude with a hydraulic lift and cart wheeled it right into my shop, so that was nice.

Hmm maybe it links right to "my store", which may have sold out of them at that price? There were only 2 left after mine. Still not a bad price though.

The internet has sure has changed things.

I ordered one that my brother in law will pick up and store in my mother in law’s garage until I can pick it up next time I am in the Midwest. Since I am in Afghanistan I think this qualifies as long distance shopping and hey I avoided the lines!

Thank you for your service, Sir. Sorry that you all are away from home and family during the holiday season..........but, rest assured, you are their heros!

Just picked mine up from tractor supply...$423 with tax. Although, I had to spend another $90 on hooking it up. I was really hoping it was going to be quieter than my oil-less craftsman 33 gallon, but it's pretty much the same.

Tractor supply also has a nearly identical model they're selling as Campbell Hausfeld on clearance. Its coming in a bit cheaper as the Porter Cable is the go-forward inventory. The PC has a slightly better compressor talking with the local GM of TS.

Just throw on some silencers on the exhaust there are a few threads with tips and tricks when it comes to noise level.

$489 here as well, with my store entered. Menards store prices do vary by location. It appears that is just not on sale everywhere.

We don't have the "Cool Tool and Great Gifts" sale at all.

The price was only for through black friday, and i think only for in-stock, not any ater the individual stores sold out. Picked mine up today and got it moved to temporary storage while the garage is built.

Was at Lowes last night (Woohoo Saturday night excitement) and saw the Kobalt 60 gallon is always $499... Might be able to catch a coupon and bring it down.

I just bought the same compressor that Lowes sells under the Kobalt name.........Rockwell model 7060HFVR 60 gallon 3HP 230V 13.3cfm @ 90psi for $125.00. Tank was certified in 2005 and had been sitting in some guys shed for a LONG time. Never been wired. It was missing the discharge tube.........no biggie. After wiping off the dust and some cobwebs, it works like a charm. Yay me!
