I am from Indiana, been in Ohio for awhile and I just recently moved the Tulsa, OK area.
I have read a few threads on this forum relating to vise restoration and old tools, etc.
I am closing one of our plants in Akron, OH unfortunately and I am sending all of the work benches and **** to my plant in Tulsa. I wanted to keep on vise personally as my friend who was in Tool and Die here recently passed and it was on his bench.
I pulled a Columbian that was welded to the weld bench and swapped it our for Dave's old vise. Ill probably end up cleaning up the old workhorse one as well later.
I can make a separate thread but here are a few pics. I pulled it apart today and cleaned it up in the parts washer. Tomorrow I'll sandblast it.
Whats the correct color for a Columbian 604 1/2?

One tang is broken off the bronze thrust washer - replacements?
