a quick search shows a 1/2", at the bottom on the right. I only looked at the first page. The quick lock is what I would avoid, it was nice in the beginning, but it being a point of failure, I would avoid it.

seems like its more then what i need but that never hurt lol and its compact enough i can use it. if someone knows if something of the like but smaller let me know

When I was building breakdown trucks (wreckers) for a living, we used Metabo corded drills to make holes in truck chassises. They just kept going. Now I'm not making my living with my tools, I have a Bosch professional corded drill. For the money I paid, it seems great (roughly $80 US).

Disclaimer: These are European 220v tools, your mileage may very.

I also have an el-cheapo, Harbor Freight grade SDS hammer drill. It's heavy, but for occasional large holes in masonry, and demolition duties, it's fine.

To put it another way, when it comes to drills, there's no one-size fits all.

I have one. Biggest drill I've used has been 5/8", and it impressed me with the speed it drilled the holes. No regrets, it did the job without any problems.

well i ended up ordering Model # 0300-20 for $100 with free shipping. hope its as good as everyone says.

now time for a hammer drill. is there a cheaper place to buy that bosch i linked above?
