The vendor, jensputzier, is a member here. By all accounts, he is great to deal with. I would send him a pm if you have questions.

Seems like a good amount of power for the size, also appears to be very similar in design (design not size) to the CP 7732.

I would get it if 450-500 advertised ft/lbs of the M7, Astro, CP is not enough for yor needs and you don't want multiple impacts laying around.

isnt the newest king tony (not out yet if i remember) shorter then this one? i thought it was around 3.5inchs or something? this one is 4.5inches.

if thats the case id rather it be an inch longer if it has more power. think its a even trade off.

I think the previous (standard) M7 is 4 3/8" and the new one coming out is 3.8".

The Hazet is more powerful than any of them, so i understand its slightly longer profile.

yea i knew it was something like that. just couldnt remember the specs.

now the question is how does (if any) the warranty work on the Hazet? at almost $300 i would like some sort of coverage.

I saw this impact on ebay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/JP-Hazet-Ne...1679956933&pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&vxp=mtr

Looks pretty nice, anyone know if Hazet makes their own impacts? Has anyone used one?

850nm - 636lb/ft

As some members have referred to me I would like to answer your question: I have sold several of the 9012M and the customers have been happy so far. The general response to this new impact was very good as well. I have not used it myself as I use the rechargeable electric impact from Hazet, but I only need it to change wheels on a handful of cars twice a year. Hazet does not manufacture any of their impacts themselves.

If you do have any questions let me know. I will add it to my store later on and it will be cheaper there compared to Ebay.

Best regards
Jens

how does the warranty work if something should happen?

Two option considering the fact that I am located in Germany and you are probably not.

1. You send it back to me and I forward it to Hazet for inspection. In case it is a valid warranty claim you get a free replacement. If not you get a fair repair quote.

2. In case cou would be able to repair it yourself I would try to get you the required spare parts free of charge if you can send me some proof of the defect being related to something covered by the warranty.

IMO, for 1/2 the price of that Hazet, I'd go with the one that Chicago Pneumatic makes and never look back. It's 116 bucks on ebay.

Hmm.. based on the pictures, my questions have been anwered. CP makes the impacts for Hazet. Almost identical design.

Hazet version is way more powerful though.

CP is a shell of their former selves. They make hardly anything original anymore. Their impacts are sourced from Taiwan OEMs as opposed to being in-house R&D.

That might be true, but Hazet one looks almost the same, so same supplier for both.
