Yes they fit like a glove...again Thanks OP, I now have the "Theme" of my garage as I have the Dewalt table saw, planner, 12" sliding miter saw and reg. 12" miter saw all W/HF coupons at various stores.........all thanks to GJ.

I don't understand dewalts new method of stamping there name on everything. They already have stanly to do that. Gonna end up like craftsman. They had a good reputation do they really need to kill it by putting there name in a junk propane heater to make ten bucks?

Yes.... It is called Branding and every company does it as long as is helps the bottom line....... That's why I use my HF coupons because it helps my bottom line lol

Just bought two of them for work.
I mounted them back to back to make a Mobil work cart for the testing area.
Used a piece of unistrut bolted across where the back casters would have gone

To mount the back to back I had to hammer and dolly the top and bottom flanges flat. I was disappointed that the paint shipped off so easily. I have done this with other boxes before without that paint chipping like it did on this one. Fortunately it won't show

Once connected this is what it looks like

There is a safety release that is on the bottom drawer that does not let you open it more than about 2/3rds way open. I removed it

I will bend up a stainless steel top cap that will cover both boxes and make a single table top for it

Just bought the combo used lowes 10% coupon was to scared to use the harbor freight one lol but i got both for about $320 before taxes. If your on the fence go for it they are great if you don't mind a little less drawers these are sturdy and worth $350 and more i was thinking of buying them at $500 so $320 is a no brainier.

Was just planning on picking up the top piece. The guy at HD wouldn't match the 20% from HF. I told him if he matched the 20% I would pick up both pieces. So I picked up both pieces for $280

Display Dewalt bottom cabinet models in the store have the clips installed from the factory to handle 200lb and to prevent tip over.

Red doesn't match yellow too well but black might be better match

Well if the sale is that long might try the other home depot next to harbor freight and see if they will take a 25% or 20% off coupon to save me more money i bought mine but haven't picked it up yet i don't know is it worth it to get a return and try the harbor freight coupon to save more money?

I've experienced super unadvertised deals from retailers like HD who have drastically discounted a big bulky discontinued item out of the store at incredible prices if you are lucky enough to stumble upon it. It seems HD is the only local distributer of Dewalt boxes and actively moving them out.

The sku in the FIRST phone doesn't show it as being inactive...at least from what my friend showed me just the other day while at Home Depot. Wonder if it's different from each district?

they clearanced out the old husky 40" combos last year at 175. they were 398 and 449 at one time. not the new ones. the older style that had all long drawers top and bottom.
one of my stores moved 8 from 6am to lunch when i came back in to get more supplies. ive got 5 local stores. so anything is possible.

Can someone take a picture of the inside of on of the top 3 drawers? It looks like the slides are held on only by rivets in shear? No locking tabs to take the load?
