Christmas gift.

So some things have happened and the chances are very high this will be the last gift I get from my grandpa. Who is my last living grandparent. He spends $100. I have $55 left after getting the Black Friday special snap on stool from menards. I could just pay for the stool and have $100. So price range $55-$100.

I'm looking for something that's going to last a good while. That I will also use a decent amount. Something well into the future that will remind me of grandpa when I use it. Sockets wrenches and ratchets pretty much covered.

Ideas?

I have a set of blue point t handle hexkeys, a proto long handled 1/2 ratchet, and a pair of bolt cutters that are all 35 plus years old and remind me of my grandfather every time I use them.

Take the $100 bucks and go out to lunch with him. It will be much more memorable and valuable than anything you can buy.

The tools I mentioned belonged to my grandfather...so I guess that is a lot different than buying something new...those old tools have plenty of sentimental value.

I never really knew my grandparent, but I did know my wife's. Her grandfather gave me $5 for my birthday over 40 years ago, and I used it to buy a Lufkin 25' tape to keep with my welding tools. He died in 1974; it's still there in my welding box, and I think of him every time I pick it up.

Day trip of somewhere he wants to go, perhaps a state park/camping trip which will give you tons of time to talk about little stuff/stories
