Hello from Utah. Our house came with a larger garage than I ever thought I would have. I'm looking forward to gaining some ideas and inspiration.

Albert: welcome. are you able to take a few pictures, save them to your computer and attach them to your posts. our "golden rule" here at GJ is we all try to post a lot of good pictures especially if we want help or have questions.

happy to hear you have a good size garage. like everybody on here your garage will be too small too soon without a good plan so work on that before you start filling it up.

cheers

I'm a lift away from it being much smaller.

I will post some photos tomorrow. Thank you for the heads-up.

Moregs: well sir your place looks awesome. i would say those are not just your average garage structures. nice find and happy to hear you got more than you were expecting. I was a Realtor for 30 years before retiring from that in 2007 and of all the garages I've seen yours are in the upper 10% or better.

you don't have to show us the insides and if you do may i suggest to start a thread in the garage gallery and post lost of pictures. you'll also get a lot more help over there because i only recently knew this section was on GJ.

if you need any help just ask and i'll PM you with a few more ideas on how to.

I would like to own a fork lift, but i don't have the room at my current home so i'm just kicking tires so to speak now until i find the house so i'll know which one to buy. in the meantime for my heavy stuff i have had this Vermette 1000 lift and just acquired a pallet jack lift as well as a couple pallet jacks. that will fill up one or both of those garages in a hurry so a good plan is needed before you start buying. sounds like you already know that with your comment in a prior post.

cheers and again nice garages

Thank you for the compliments. Inside picture to follow at some point. One of my favorite things about the garage is the bathroom. I don't know how I "survived" without one before. And I agree, a garage can never be big enough, I just feel blessed to have this one and look forward to making it a neat space to work.

MoreGs: here's a butcher block bench Costco used to sell and Gladiator still does for a lot more $ and i found some metal cabinets that just fit under it for some great storage. just a teaser really and i probably picked up the idea on here. sorry the bench and shelving wasn't really picture ready, but maybe you might like something like that for your workbench unless you need a steel one.

have fun on GJ and I usually hang over on the general tool section in Vises thread or Craftsman block grinder threads which are a couple of my favorite tools.
