What is this chisel/punch for?

It has a blunt, curved tip. Brand is Whalebone. Model is 102. It may have come with a lot of military surplus tools, but not certain.

I keep these when I find them because I have actually needed a curved chisel here and there...yea, I know they aren't meant to swing on with a sledge...but ya know.

maybe, but i am going to disagree. i have seen the type of tool suggested and they usually are not that long and have some funky bends.

i have one just like and it was marketed as a bearing or race punch/driver.

a quick google search for "bearing punch" pulls up several images of similar tools backing up my statement

That might make more sense, I think it came in a lot of Military surplus tools I bought. Mayhew has some that are not too far off.

I am sure I will find some use for it, at some point, regardless of if it is the intended use of the tool.
