My latest tool didn't exactly arrive, I went and picked it up.
I have been thinking about getting a blast cabinet since I can't access my former employer's shop now that I am retired. TP Tools has them on sale until the end of the year. I had to replace the rusty/leaking trans cooler lines on my daughter's Expedition and the correct disconnect tool was not stocked locally but in stock at Summit Racing not far from TP Tools. My son and I decided on a road trip across the state to save $100 on shipping on the cabinet alone. Picked up the tool at Summit (saved shipping there too) on the way. We were pleasantly surprised to find that TP Tools had additional savings at their store on top of the online sale prices. I got an extra $50 off on the cabinet, additional savings on a couple of boxes of media (plus $20/box savings on shipping), an additional light and carbide nozzle upgrade. All in all a good day.
Due to other projects I don't quite have it up and running yet but the quality is light years ahead of the HF unit. Oh yeah, we got to see their private car collection kept in a building next to their store and I got a free TP Tools hat too!

Only problem is I love the saw. I'll upgrade later on, I barely use the Sidekick now.

The handle on my m12 Fuel impact driver cracked up the front. I'm not happy about it. And I'd only been taking it to work (residential remodeling) for a few weeks.I'm sure I can get it replaced but it'll probably be a hassle.

I've dropped mine on concrete floor many a times, thrown it a few times, etc. and it's held up fine
I did crack one of the clips that hold the cover on one of the batteries, but it's in a place that doesn't matter once the battery is in the tool, so I haven't really noticed it

In all honesty, it did fall off of the roof of my car onto a concrete sidewalk. But it didn't crack until weeks later. One of my 4.0 batteries does the same thing as yours. When it hit the sidewalk it was no longer straight up and down, but I was able to snap it back into place and it works fine.
More importantly, I got my heated sweatshirt in the other day
And the M18 battery USB converter thing that you can also use in the sweatshirt..
I just wish there was a way to turn the light off. I look like a crazy person walking around with a sweatshirt with a bright red light on it, lol

Milwaukee M18 2654 3/8" impact. 200 ft*lbs in a tiny package. Same size as my 1/4" M12 driver which is somewhere in the 70-75 ft*lbs range.
Ordered a boot for it today as I've really liked having one on my 2763. It leaves basically just the boot and battery taking all of the wear and tear

Snap on 3/8 in 1/4 body with flex, 12 point deep snap on 1/4 sockets and a scraper got 229 left to spend waiting for the Christmas deals need some extensions and a 3/8 flex head ratchet
I never had much luck with those. Always had better results other ways

How do you like that scraper?
I'll chime in and say those picks are great. One of my most used and valued tools. I have the exact same green set. I warrantied the 45* angled one once because I was really prying on something with the end and busted the tip off. Took it on the truck and he inserted a new shank on it no problem.

I have that same set. I only use two ( maybe three ) of them but have used them often and in fairly vigorous applications.
They, so far have held up wonderfully and worked really well.
They are a real winner for for price.

Good to hear. I have done a lot of research on opinions on them and only seen one person from garage journal say they broke em. Will be ordering them soon.

I finally let the smoke out of my Matco Electric ratchet after a year and a half of severe abuse. The truck says its still warrantable but he didn't have a loaner and I cant go with out it so I bought another one for the time being and will take the rebuilt one home when it gets back.
Blue point harmonic balancer installer set was on sale so I snagged it
Won some money on the Matco Truck from a raffle so i told him to keep it and took the master bj set. Ive abused my otc press its bent so this is a nice upgrade
And Im tired of going to the back room and trying to find the spindle socket i need, so this GearWrench spindle nut set should be perfect

They're magnetic, so my hand box is also instantly a torch, I can carry two work lights without taking up storage space, and they can still be deployed for the job in question (they're only on magnetically after all)
