Hi,

Trying to rehab a 70's Snap-on Roller Cabinet. It appears Drawer 5 containing the lock was subjected to unjustified abuse (someone probably forgot the key).
Just confirms that you can give some a ball bearing and they will return in a week wanting spare parts. I digress. Anyway, I have managed to reshape things with the exception of the right off-set friction slide. (see pic). Snap-on number is 8-1067 but it is no longer available. The slide has the number 8-453 engraved on it. Length is 16.75 and width is 1.74. Was wondering if anyone knew of another source for friction slides outside of Snap-on. Thanks. Leaky

Snap on has them. New part number is 8-367 I'm pretty sure.

Thanks. Leaky

No prob, you might want to check the dimensions on that, but I'm almost positive that is the correct number. I had to order one a while back. Snap on still makes most of their old slides, you just have to wade through to cross reference the part numbers. In my experience the tech support people are little help.
