I finally let the smoke out of my Matco Electric ratchet after a year and a half of severe abuse. The truck says its still warrantable but he didn't have a loaner and I cant go with out it so I bought another one for the time being and will take the rebuilt one home when it gets back.

if thats the 3/8 ratchet you should look into the 16v one instead. Its got a ton more power.

Just got this brand new set of SO Flank Drive+ P/N: SOEXM710 on ebay for $164 shipped... guy put the wrong P/N (OEXM710B, not FD+ and short) in the title so I think it turned alot of people off but he had the correct number in the description and picture shows the FD+ :bounce:

Also got a used but got calibrated last week... Mitutoyo 12" absolute coolant proof digital caliper for $95 shipped... those bad boys are like $400 bones.

I went to Sears this evening JUST to look around, as I tend to do at Sears, Menards, Lowes, Tractor Supply, and Home Depot quite often. Not to buy anything, just to look. Ha.

IT'S TWINS!!!

New additions to the family. Twin slimline Bosch grinders. This doubles my total to 4 in the garage and will be so nice to have dedicated purpose grinders and not have to stop and change abrasives.

That is nice how many teeth? and how smooth is it? I may have to cancel my planned snap on ratchet purchase.

I just got mine a couple of weeks ago. Only 36 teeth (old Snap-On style), but insanely smooth with very little back drag. Was worried the overall 8" length would be excessive, but has been great. Using it all day every work day, it's only going to get smoother.

I picked up that set awhile back also. Had been eyeing it awhile.

I eyeballed it for a second, and then grabbed it because they didn't have a spot for it anymore, only had one left (and had it laying on the floor with a white sticker on it with the price) so I figured it was going to be their last.

Bought some affordable metric ratcheting wrenches for home use. Use S-O FD+, Hazet 606 and Bluepoint (stubbies) at garage but thought this kit was really nicely priced and probably sufficient for my weekend use. Its 16 piece set.

BTW. never seen Gearwrench brand stuff live before.

Got this in the mail yesterday from the UK, infrared digital thermometer. With shipping I got it for 9 Sterling, not bad for something I'll only use once in awhile

How much is a sterling? I use the **** out of mine even at home. Bought it to adjust the fan tstat in my mustang but it's seen many uses.

Mind if I ask how much you spent on this?

Mine is GW #9620 and 9601 sets combined. So, search ebay for those. Much better price than when bought separately. I just checked and the price has gone up a bit but its still fine in my perspective.

The replacement of my Kobalt plier set with Channel Locks is nearly complete. Just need a set of Channel Lock 337 angled long nose to finish off. Thought Vise Grip was a good bet to replace the Kobalt Locking Pliers.

Vise Grip 10WR and 5WR and Channel Lock 317 today.

Tooltopia had a special for that set a couple months ago, I bought it. The deal was buy the 8mm-19mm set (PN 9620)(at a discount), and get the 21-25mm (PN 9601)free. With coupon and shipping I paid around $80 I think.

I'm looking at eBay, and people selling them for ~$140. I should have bought several sets and resold them for profit, apparently!

10-20mm Snap On HP zero degree double box wrenches, and buy one get one deal on 1/4 drive metric 12 point sockets. I already have a full set of 6 point sockets, now I'm working on a full set of 12 points. (All sizes, 1/4 - 1/2 drive)
