The anti-slip of each wrench was virtually identical. FD+ has a longer pattern amd more of an offset. I'd like to have the FD+ offset but like a shorter beam. Other than the price that's really the only major differences.

Supercombos are fantastic wrenches, but I feel that the Wright design gets on/off the fastener easier and actuallly grips better. Handfeel goes to Wright all day, but all these might be my own personal preference. I havent done a side by side comparison, but before I got a premium wrench set I used borrowed Supercombos and dont remember being this impressed.


Do yourself a favor and buy a single wrench of each before you make your decision, because you really cant go wrong either way and I'd hate to steer you the wrong way.

Yeah, I'll probably be doing this with screwdrivers, also. I'd like it to become the "GJ sampler pack" so that several people can benefit.

Screwdrivers are a no brainer, Wiha for performance and value. Williams are a steal if your prefer hard handles.

I have had situations where the Wrights fit too tight, wouldn't go on.

I LOVE my WrightGrip combos. When I was doing an axle swap on my Jeep I ran across more than a few worn bolts on the "new" axle. WrightGrips just dug in and broke them free.
