Who has the new USA made Channellock screwdrivers?

I don't, but I thought about buying some just to buy them and try them out. I guess they're new. They're website says they are, and I hadn't heard of them before.

If anyone does, how's the quality?

I know USA made doesn't necessarily mean great quality, as I learned from buying a few USA Kobalt screwdrivers from lowes and the flat tip ones deforming after a short period of normal, non hulk hands, use.

I'm curious how this ends up. There are plenty of **** Acetate screwdrivers made in the USA. Channellock doesn't usually cut corners, the Taiwan ones they had looked decent despite not being US.

The nut driver coloring really looks like Pratt-Read. If so, they are good screwdrivers at a fair price... worthy of the Channellock name. Not particularly stunning in any regard but a solid offering, IMO.

Those are not the usa channellock screwdrivers.

Oops, forgot about this.

I might buy a couple, try them out, and if I like them I'll get some more.

It's hard to justify buying much of anything except tools from companies that give me a student discount. At least not until after I lose the discount.

But a couple screwdrivers isn't going to break the bank.

ill take the Mossman's word for it, that they are acceptable and worth the investment.
i myself, have waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many drivers.
(and when the box that's in shipment arrives, she'll get pissed (again)).

Every time a new box comes in, regardless of what's actually in the box, and my girlfriend see's it...

"Oh god, what tool did you blow money on this time?"

To counter this, I've started explaining to her, in depth, about the tool. What it is, what size it is (if applicable) and countless situations it can be used. She doesn't find that stuff interesting, so I'm testing to see if this eliminates the initial comments.

I know this is an old post but I just got these today from my mom as an early birthday gift. Haven't had a chance to use them yet but they do feel good in hand, sturdy, and best off all made in the USA!

BTW, she ordered them over a month ago from tooldiscounter.com and barely got them in. They are the cheapest there but slow to ship...

Don't hold you breath considering CL is kind of known for their Blue

ETA - I love that they dropped those crappy Chinese made drivers they were selling and went with better quality US made offerings but I really wish they had designed a more modern ergonomic handle for these new drivers

They look very nice.. Looks like Craftsman screwdrivers they might be made by Pratt Reed or Western Forge which are both owned by Ideal and they rebadge them as Craftsman and some other USA brands..

I have a set of those picks the business end holds its own compared to SO the handle is lacking but hey they where 10 bucks not 50
