It's been a heck of a weekend. First I scored the KRA, then a friend stopped by the shop and mentioned he wanted to get rid of his big box (wife wants room in the garage). KRL7003B in trade plus $1k for my Kobalt stack. Then he gave me his SO taco cart for free. I don't have a pic of the taco cart yet 'cuz he's still cleaning it out. Now to find room for them! So $1500 for 3 SO boxes this weekend.

He just stopped by and dropped this and a couple more tools off too. He's apparently putting a bunch in the taco cart before I pick that one up. Merry Christmas to me!

I'm on my own for a top. But he does have a friend's bottom/top box in his garage and says his friend might be looking to dump it.

That's a better deal than the 60" Epiq the Nigerians were selling on Craigslist yesterday. Nice score. I have been waiting for a deal like that.

I would likely never buy a new one but really would have been just stupid to pass on these deals. I will say, having never used one, the leap in quality is impressive. Still seem exorbitantly priced though.

Remember, everyone works out of a used box.

It cleaned up awesome. Plus, I was able to actually make room for it in the shop, which I was kinda worried about. I was thinking about where the heck to put the taco cart when it arrives though. It seems like it's designed more to sit in the middle of a shop with the drawers on 3 sides? I'm going to strip and powder coat that cart since it's pretty old and looks well used. The KRA cleaned up pretty nicely as well but has been rattle canned all the way around the bottom. I was thinking it would be my new roll around cart but maybe the taco is more practical for that. Bottom line is I think it's a good problem to have! Also been using the CNC more to cut organizers. The organizer for 6 new sets of 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 in. drive SK deep and regular is being cut as I type for the socket drawer.

I'd get a new wife instead getting rid of a Taco box because she wanted more room

Picked up the final box today.........the taco cart. I think I'm going to do a full teardown/resto on this one. Tried to clean her up a bit with degreaser but it's not enough. Orange MBC box on top courtesy of Beatcad, thanks Jimi!
