Hi everyone.

I got a set of Titan stubby hex and torx sets. They were on sale in Princess Auto so I decided to get them.

Anyone have them? Are they worth keeping?

Thanks.

They are Taiwan made, I have the Torx set and it is pretty nice. I'd keep both.

Thanks for reply guys. I was wondering if I should return them and get the VIM sets, but looks look they are worth keeping.

I don't have those exact ones, but I do have some Titan bits. I've been impressed with them, and with all the Titan tools I've bought overall.

I have a bunch of miscellaneous titan stuff and they work great! I have some 1/4 sockets that have been fairly abused in engine rebuilding and have held up fine.

Don't have any bits, but do have some 3/8" drive sockets and accessories. They look nice, seem tough, and hold up well. I could rustle up some pics of those if U R interested.

I had a set to torx tamper proof; they got borrowed by the other guy at work. He broke one of them; sheared the bit end off. I've never had problems. I do like vim however

They are a good value, however if you are really mindset on VIM, then do it.

I've found that if there is a specific set of tools I really want, and even if I've found a damn good replacement for a depreciated cost, it's best to buy what I'm fixated on.

Up to you. Titan works really well, but if you need the label, go for it. :)

1/4 impact I super lol
3/8 impact I lol moderately

They're probably fine as long as you're not using a reducer and using them on a 1/2" impact gun...just my 10 cents. One piece torx and hex are ALWAYS welcome and I've been looking for low costs sets that weren't those chinese pot metal type ones. Hmm...30 bucks a pop? I'll go meh on that because harder to warranty than store brand stuff. But...probably very good like most taiwan stuff; just don't abuse it like doing as outlined above.

Thanks for reply guys.:)
I have read raves about Titan ratchets and wondered if these bits held up to that reputation. Not really set on VIM tools, those gotta be ordered online and shipped.
The regular price for each set was $24.99, they were on sale for $16.99. Keep in mind I am in Canada and everything is priced a bit higher.
