I'll fix the ^ ^ ^ greenhorn listing that provided no information or PICS as this is actually a DESMOND STEPHAN vise.

Region: Southeast USA

Location: St John's Bluff, FL (ie Jacksonville area)

Item Description: Desmond Stephan vise

Price: $ 50 obo

Link:
http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/grd/4830587959.html

With little negotiating, that would lifetime keeper vise for $40 or $45 !!

Some GJer needs to go snag it.
Thankyou for fixing that. New phone with new tapatalk update won't let me do screenshots anymore.. or I just haven't figured it out yet.

^ ^ That is $100 of free money for you Anthony . . . why not in your shop already, or flipping it for $350 ??

Snap on tool box - 50"

Location Central PA

Price $750

Link http://lancaster.craigslist.org/tls/4837330328.html

Looks like a nice box - I'm sure I'll kick myself later for not buying it.

^ ^ SnapOn box 50" wide and 22" deep sounds perfect size for home DIY garage. You might want to reconsider and at least go look. Negotiate down into $600 range and that is great deal.

Drawer layout with small drawers on left is bit inconvenient so you might have negotiating room because of that.

Also that box may "fly under radar" as he calls it . . . . Stap On !!! ;)

Plasma Cutter simadre cut-50rx - $280

Like new simadre plasma cutter cut-50rx bought it a while ago and the project i was gonna use it for kinda fell through. messed around with it a little bit and used it to cut a couple holes in a flatbed trailer but i really have no use for it.
It worked good while i was usin it. Pretty handy tool to have and these have pretty good reviews.
Can plug into 120 volts

Going to see if I can snag tomorrow night for less, if it's still available :)

FREE - Drill press 1/2hp & 5/8th" chuck (Sammamish)

What can you say ... ITS FREE

Drill press 1/2hp & 5/8th" chuck, manufactured in 1980, off brand. Motor needs some work or replacement, doesn't like to get up to proper speed. Has multiple speeds from a belt drive pulley. Scrap wood stand is included.

I'm moving across the country and need to downsize belongings.

$50 on Craigslist... advertised as "3/4" drive ratchet and socket set, mostly Williams, some other brands mixed in"

Probably 50% or more of the sockets are Williams, the rest are a mix of Proto, SK, Snap-On. I haven't even inventoried them yet to see if it's a "complete" set or not but I figured for $50 what the hell. Found the ratchet not ratcheting; got it home and sprayed some Liquid Wrench around the cracks, yup, just old hard grease - it works fine. Got to find a pin spanner to take it apart and give it some fresh stuff.

The sockets really aren't as bad as they look, most of what you see is dirt and light surface rust. I'm really happy with the condition of everything save for the T-bar, which has a C'man socket welded to it.

Just a family photograph next to my usual drive tools... this was complete coincidence, honest!

what do you think
Craftsman Bench Grinder and/or buffer polisher. Will include the grinding wheel. It is currently mounted, so please bring a socket set to take it off, I have already sold the ones at the garage. I will try to bring some too and unhook it next time Im there. Works great 1/2 hp.

If I was in Utah and needed a grinder buffer I would grab this one for 40 with a stand and maybe a real 1/2 HP motor

Location? At least provide a link. How is anybody supposed to buy it without any of the pertinent details?

Appears you posted here in ERROR as this thread is for potential scores that other GJer's can purchase. It is NOT for your scores.

Instead move your post over to the Garage Sale 2015 thread.

not sure if its a deal or not since I don't follow used box prices but see a lot of talk about Kennedy's on here. not letting me copy and paste the full ad so I left the craftsman prices off.

Item: Sandblasting cabinet & Vacuum. 350 or OBO

Price: $350

Link: http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/tls/4838695857.html

I bet that you could buy this cabinet for less then 300 cash. I can see a regulator in the picture as well. If the vacuum works, that is a lot of cabinet for the money.

I have no idea if this is a deal or not, but it is pretty darn cool! I'm sure somebody on here needs this.

Rare Vintage Alemite Workbench - $2800 (Verona)

This is a very rare find. It is an Alemite workbench from the late 40's early 50's. It is from an old gas station owned by my grandfather. It is all in tact. It needs to be restored but that will be mostly just a paint job as the metal is in good condition. It has the parts washer still in the cabinet in tact and slides in and out. It is 12 feet long and 6 feet tall. The vice that is attached is a Reed vintage swivel vice that can be negotiated. This is a rare collector piece. Serious inquiries only please.
