Hi, I'm Steven and I am a vintage tool addict. It's not like I needed another table saw, but when I saw this I couldn't get there fast enough. I was looking on craigslist, which I do far too often, when I clicked on an ad for two table saws that showed a picture of a modern Dewalt contractor saw. When I opened the ad I saw this.

It was assembled when I got it. I had to do a little take down to get it down the stairwell. Has anybody seen handles like this on a cman cabinet saw before? Funny, it was only about twenty minutes away from me. It fired right up and ran real quiet and smooth. I love this thing. Best part-only $55. It was a good day.;)

I also have another 8" and a 10" cman table saws of the same vintage not shown that are for sale just in case anyone needs one...or two ;) Also, the older bandsaw and the scroll saw are available.(I can't post in the classifieds yet) All this is over about the last year and a half. The jointer I actually found in the pile at the scrapper.

P.S. I'm always looking for parts/additions to add to my addiction so don't hesitate to contact me if you have something vintage craftsman that you think I might like. Especially parts for the cabinet saw or a drill press table lift.

So what do you guys think?

I'm fairly certain that is one of the most sought after Craftsman table saws.

Are you asking about the blade adjustment handles? If so, I don't think they're stock.

Here is a similar saw on Vintage Machinery.

Yes I was. The ones in your link are what I thought they should look like. I tend to think mine might be stock though because the center circular chrome knob on my handle looks an awful lot like the handles on my other 50s cman saws.

I assume the angle and height adjust handles match? I didn't look that close the first time I opened your pictures.

I agree that the center lock down knob on the one picture I opened at least looks stock. Or at least stock to some saw from that era.

Yes they do match. Unfortunately, I only have one of the lock down knobs.

Interesting. I don't recall seeing that Craftsman/K-S badge before. I wonder that the dates on it are.

These are awesome as well as the table saw.

If you are wanting to sell the tools you might want to post where you are from. If I was close I might would be interested.
