Inspection mirrors...show em

I never seen a simple topic like this so I figured I'd start one. Mine is a simple craftsman professional but I need to get another one soon because doing welding and tackin the tops of exhausts while holding it has taken it's toll. I pretty much came to the conclusion these are throw away items. They get scratched, weld splatter or plain out just break!

Take the craftsman back and exchange it.

Snappy/blue point mirrors are lifetime warranty. As are magnets... Most people don't realize that.

I ordered a new blue point green handled mirror yesterday and my driver didn't say anything about the new one being lifetime. He actually sells the replacement glAss for them. I would assume they are not lifetime guarantee simply because it's glass. I'll try taking my old craftsman mirror back to sears n see if they will warranty it later today

Mirrors are absolutely lifetime warranty. Maybe your dealer isn't as nice as me.

I have broken a couple and Sears has always been great about the warranty.
You will come home with a new mirror.

Oh Boy! Here's a few of mine:

#4 - The Snap-On has a locking angle adjustment on the handle so you can sneak the mirror where you need it then adjust the angle on the mirror and lock it there.



#'s 1+2 have identical handles and design. The Blue Point is about 30 years old but it would seem Ash Temple of Germany was the supplier for these. The Ash Temple reads "Boilable" under the name so it is clear these were likely dental tools originally.

where did you get them ?

There are a few shops here in Sweden that sells a couple of their products.

The quality looks great, is it something I really do not like, it is cheap magnets and cheap inspection mirrors.

I have a blue point one that has a lifetime warranty it's pretty sweet since they always get wrecked.
