Just throwing this out as an alternative. I bought this a couple months ago and have used it to flush the brake fluid on two vehicles. This is easily one of the best tools that I've bought at harbor freight. With a 25% off coupon, it can't be beat for the price.

thats awesome, i was gonna mention something about doing a quick and dirty mod to make one for 20 bucks if you buy the HF sandblaster, stick a tube on the side of the cap. pull the suction tube out of the bottle and you have your bleeder.. super simple, looks like HF already knew what they were doing to have their own products modified simple like that for cheap. at least hf doesn't overprice some plastic parts because of the function, they have that going for them

i'll be honest, i hate those bleeders though, they are always difficult to tell when the line is airless. personally i use the phoenix systems brake bleeder from www.brakebleeder.com search up v12 diy kit on ebay and you can pick up the oldschool one i've got, or get their newer cheaper and smaller one for less than 50. nice little pressure bleeder with tons of attachments for suction bleeding, pressure bleeding, bench bleeding. and its all quick disconnect fittings, no push on stuff that gets your hoses worn out.

It is a little bit more stuff to deal with when bleeding brakes, but for the money I would rather buy this for $62 (which i have and it works good): Plus you get a hand workout!

You can bleed brakes but also use it for many pressure/vacuum applications.

I've got one of those too, but for brake bleeding, the Harbor Freight tool is my new favorite. If you don't have an air compressor handy though the MityVac will get the job done.

Same here, works great. I think I paid $50 for mine. Don't have to have an air compressor either.

Same! Motive bleeder makes it easy. Seals tight to reservoir and pushes air out of the brake line. Pressure bleeder is better than vacuum style.

It's sometimes hard to tell with mityvac if their is still air in system or if it's leaking around the bleeder screw.

I've never had much luck with vacuum bleeders. I always end up pulling air around the ****** or through the threads of the loosened bleeder screw. You're never sure where the air bubbles are coming from.

The Motive pressure bleeder works much better. Just my $.02
