I've looked through the usual suspects and only found those craftsmans ($10! :thumbup:) - but they don't come in 27...

I have one I bought at Fry's electronics. Very stubby, but it came with bits rather than a fixed unit. About 5 bucks. Has a 27.

Or, more locations and even cheaper;
Get a cheap HF bit handle, they come as short as 1.5 inches, then some bits.
Got a couple of different types there, one for 1.99 on sale for 1.49. Another on sale for a buck. The bits are in sets.
You seldom need much torque on a 27 torx so any brand should do.

last resort, i'd prefer a "real" model though....

cut down the shaft and weld it back together?

In T27, the blade is 4". Too long...

Search Williams 24271 screwdriver 4 inch.

SURPRISE! They don't.... :headscrat T25s don't fit well enough in my T27 screws. And I don't feel like stripping something out when I'm a mile into the woods felling trees...

I wouldn't be surprised if c-man dosent make a t-27 like that. Why not just use the t-25 and replace it whenever it strips after using it too much on t-27 fasteners.

Because sockets fall off. This is going to go into my "woods kit" when I'm felling trees. Sockets & bits fall out of the holders and get lost - even when painted pink or orange.

Why not use a T27 socket coupled to a ratchet instead?
