Remind him in August. He has a couple hundred guys to keep track of.

Will do, Thanks. What is this SFC anyway? Is it another convention that all dealers go to?

My old dealer that retired last year didn't do any of these conventions like my new dealer. Nor did my ex dealer really give me any good deals on boxes.

Ummm, it's a box...that you put tools in. It has to be durable and secure. Which is why you pay the premium for Snap-On. When guys start agonizing over color, I start wondering if they are going to store their manicure supplies in it. Real tool boxes are red, always have been.

So are you going to go after people that have black and blue boxes? Which I see more than red. At least at my shop. Sorry but I work hard for my money. I have the right to choose whatever color I want.

What's next? I chose the wrong color Mustang?

Nah, you already drive a Ford, color is irrelevant.:bounce:

My point is that the box doesn't make you money, it doesn't matter what color it is, as long as it holds your tools.

That rationality is like saying to just marry that gal in the corner, she'll do for what you want.
There's nothing wrong with holding out for what you want.
The guy that concedes to just any old toolbox(or whatever) is usually the most bored in life.

I'd spend the extra grand on bits and pieces for my racing dinghy, or maybe tires for the Porsche, a new saddle...you get the idea... it's a box you put tools in...

VVV Where would you rather be?

Well, still trying to decide which box to buy, stuck between a 7022 or 7023. All my tools would fit in a 1022 but I want the lower height, I could get them all in the 7022 and take some odd, hardly used stuff home. I really only want a double bank, decisions decisions. I always want to downsize and buy a cart for extra space, but cant talk myself into a cart. Thinking about the 7023 then, not keen how it looks, 3rd bank looks like an add on.
