So Ive been in the market for some tiles for a couple months and still cant make a decision. My commercial garage is approx 1700sqft. and epoxy isnt an option since Im not sure how long I will have my warehouse. Tiles I can bring with me to a new shop, epoxy I cant. Ive gotten samples from BLT & Racedeck, but their prices are too high. Floor Junkies can get me diamond tiles for almost $1.75/tile, while my latest quote from Racedeck was almost $3.
Does anyone have feedback for Floorjunkies?
This is a commercial application so quality isnt a priority. I just want the best bang for the buck. Any suggestions?

Well, I would assume at those prices that the FJ stuff is made in China. You get what you pay for.

You could look at the Motofloor stuff at Costco. It is made by Snaplock (Racedeck) and it is currently on sale for $1.90 per sq ft. in black and white.

I also think the Big Floors stuff is made by Snaplock as well (not sure on that) and they have it on Ebay for $1.98 per tile in a several colors.

So in recap:

China - $2703 (FJ sells on ebay for $1.59 per sq)
Motorfloor - $3230
Big Floor - $3366

Personally, I would think a commercial space needs decent durability. I would spend the extra $$$ on the stuff made in the USA. With Chinese made stuff, you take the risk of lesser quality and more manufacturing defects. Especially with a floor your size.

I have been looking at floors for 6 months now and I am saving like mad for a good floor. I prefer the epoxy, but I don't have the patience for the diamond grinding etc. So I have been looking at the tiles.

The above listed are the best priced for a hard tile.

Go with the USA made tile.

My 2 cents.

It's really more of a certainty than a risk that you will get much lower quality from China. In addition, what kind of poison are they putting in it. Just last week on national news we are discovering that the drywall imported from China is making people sick in their homes.

Americans keep screaming that they want job creation in America. The first step is for Americans to buy products made in America. Everytime you purchase goods made in China you are taking food off of the plate of an American and giving that money to the RED ARMY!
