I'm a Snap-On fan for sure, but I just can't get past the aesthetics on their cordless stuff. That battery pack looks like a 1988 toy designer was watching Star Blazers on weed and got his way in the board meeting.

haha. I was thinking the same.

For my uses, Milwaukee's M18 line works just as good or better regardless

I edited my post with better pictures

Got a new sk 45171 3/8 drive in a long 1/4 body. Got it off my previous cornwell guy turned sk dealer.

Also threw in a flippable phillips/flat head pocket screwdriver as a gift for purchasing my first sk tool from him.

Snap-On 3/8 drive sockets. Just missing the 1" socket because it's on a nationwide back order. I already had the socket trays.

Next purchase is going to be 1/2" drive sockets.

I have the same compressor. You will love it. I also have the same orange hose and wish I could say the same. Those things get stiff in the cold!

I already do and for the price its amazing lol. Yea the hose works for now, I haven't had it long to see how it holds up yet :D

No more turkey baster for me :D This thing is pretty sweet. Far more controlled than any turkey baster.

The bits are off the Snap-On truck ( damn sale flyer ) They are for driving up the detente on axle nuts. A good bit cooler than a hammer and chisel.

What socket trays are those? They look a lot better than my HF socket organizers

Rest of my order and a few new goodies.

914501_420968114738251_534651387_n.jpg

Bunch more technically on the way as I signed up for a bunch of the new year promotions coming up.

semi deep 1/4" metric and get 1/4" comfort grip ratchet (THL72) & 1/4" comfort grip flex head(THLF72) ratchet free

1/2" deep metric set and get (I think) SHLF80A free

3/8" ball head metric long hex keys and get stubby ratchet and imperial set free (I think)

Finally upgrading/filling in the pieces of things I needed to and well spoiling myself as well, it has been a lonnnnnggg year and well might as well spend it on me then to give it to the government.

whats you initial thoughts on the sunnex locking extensions robocow??

I really like them! But to get the most out of them, the socket you use in these gotta have the tiny hole for the ball to hold it. I'll add some pictures to better explain this.

Well my SO guy surprised me with the rest of my order earlier than he had initially told me.

Flank Drive Plus metric ratcheting wrenches set, shallow metric 3/8 sockets and a very handy double box ended 14 & 17 wrench for my Toyota project

And a 3/8 digital torque wrench

They're a very common size bolt in Toyotas, especially my 80's Corolla. I bought this specifically to be able to reach the transmission bolts that my ratchets have a real tough time getting.

Those wrenches are awesome. I find myself using them a lot more than I thought. I originally got them to reach belt tensioners n stuff that was between the motor and strut/frame rail or radiator that a normal ratchet n socket can't go.
I find myself using them for brake jobs a lot

Here are those pics I promised

Here is the Sunex locking extension and a 14mm socket, one snap on and one Grey Pneumatic

Here it is with the GP socket and its locked in there tight! I wouldn't be worried about the socket coming off
59ad5a0c01d015de932196bc8dd5be5d.jpg

Now with sockets without that "hole" like my snap on socket, it'll still keep it locked in but with the right amount of force it'll snap off haha. One thing I did noticed about the SO socket is that it has little indents, probably to help it stay on better with extensions.

For sockets that don't have the hole, Cornwell makes these really solid locking extensions that'll keep you from losing your socket. I'm hoping to get those soon.

You will like that 3/8" Techwrench. I have had mine for several years and love it. I just recently purchased the TechAngle in both 3/8" and 1/2" which I also really like.

I already love it. A coworker has the ½ and recently got the 3/8. He's great and always let me use it. Since he's moving soon i decided to get both. Expensive yes, but i feel that this is a great investment.

This was my nice surprise leaning up against the garage door when I got home from work today.
RaceRamp1.jpg

I can't wait to try these out. After reading a lot of pros and cons about cheaper makes in the end I decided to splurge a bit and get something I can hopefully have confidence in. They have very good reviews against slipping.
RaceRamp2.jpg

Well, I'm not sure this is totally true.
