Very nice. It's interesting to see how the spaces are designed for the way you use them and obviously have integrated things that you've learned from the earlier spaces.

Nice collection of rides as well. I think you need a Lakeroadster's rides thread.

I was for 4 years... posted a bunch of technical stuff there too.

I got "banned for life" for moderating the moderators.... long story. Basically a new guy asked a newbie question. The moderator belittled the new guy. I helped the new guy and called the moderator out for his comments. That upset Liz, another moderator, who just happens to be married to Josh, the site owner. :willy_nil

Sounds like a soap opera doesn't it? It's their sandbox, they pick who plays and who doesn't.

As Colin Powell so eloquently stated: "Being responsible sometimes means ******* people off."

I love the way you did the hood on the 65'. My dad's 72 GMC's hood looks the same except his is original. The previous owner buffed it so much he went down to the primer. I also like you taillights. They look much cooler than the factory ones.

Sweet rides! The Camaro especially; it really does look a bit like a time capsule as the mods are definitely in the spirit of what someone would have done back in the day.

That is a fine looking set up sir!

Question on the outbuilding...how wide did you make the work stall compared to the storage side. Looking to do something very similar in my outbuilding

Re: Lakeroadster's 1927 Model T Ford RPU

1927 Model T Ford RPU

My 2nd ground up build.

Frame & Suspension
  • Started with a pair of aftermarket ’32 Ford repro frame rails
  • Custom back half to fit inside Model T body sub-frame
  • Boxed full length
  • New ’32 Ford front cross member narrowed
  • Designed & fabricated my own triangulated 4 bar air bag rear suspension
  • Magnum hairpin front suspension
  • Front and rear sway bars

Driveline
  • 5.0 HO 302 cu. in. SBF,
  • 1985 Ford SROD 4-speed manual trans.
  • 9” Ford 4.11 rear

Body
  • Stock Henry Ford ’27 Model T RPU
  • ’34 grille shell, stock

Tires & Wheels
  • American Racing Salt Flat Special wheels, 15 x 8 rear, 15 x 4 front
  • Firestone 4-ply Tires: 820-15 Rear, 500-15 Front

Your lucky over here you would not be able to use it on the road with no arches, the tyres need to be covered :3gears:

nice rides. on the 31 sedan and the t rpu, they both seem to have quick change rear ends, but you say one is a 12 bolt and the other a ford 9"..what are those? they look great.

Re: Lakeroadster's 1927 Model T Ford RPU

It's not so much luck as it is a personal choice to live someplace where the government leaves me the hell alone when it comes to my choice in what I drive.

 thats the trouble here to small over populated to many stupid laws
forgot to add sweet rides

Great looking shop...It's funny I was checking out your cars and garage and was thinking we have a lot of the same taste in style and build even though I wasn't even born in until the 80's, I love classic chevy muscle and have a 62 Gmc, but then I saw the mini bike and I thought we must be related somehow:lol: I restored this one a few years ago...

Ps. Take care of that clutch cover, they are really hard to find...
