Can anyone identify this floor jack that's for sale local to me on craigslist? From what I can tell it appears to be a Walker? anyways the add says that it slowly lowers on its own, however I could probably source a rebuild kit somewhere. If it is a walker, is there a piece missing that covers the hydraulic cylinder? Some pictures I've seen have them and some don't. I called the guy, got voicemail. I will potentially be buying this, this weekend. Thanks

Riggs: it looks more like my old Hein, but i'm far from the expert so replying so i can watch and learn. here's a picture of my unrestored Hein-Warner 4 ton. the handle and the lift plate are different on mine, but when i took the cover plate off my hydraulic it looks similar. also i see 4 old rusty car dollies that might be worth grabbing that are next to the lift in the picture. you might be correct on your WT assumption because those do look similar.

good luck

I have a Walker 780 10 Ton that looks the same. It does not have a cover over the cylinder. You can source the rebuild kit from another GJ member here.

I'm not sure where in NE Ohio you are located, but if you need someone who might be a bit closer to Norton to help you in making the transaction come to fruition, just let me know.

Walker or possibly weaver and I don't think it is a 20 ton. All the 20 ton jacks I've seen usually have a 3rd wheel on the axle. I could be completely wrong on that though.

Picked this up today. Can't find any identifying marks besides the original blue paint.

The jack is a WALKER 780...........

I bought the jack that was listed in the previous ebay thread.

Seals are availible From the $70 to $95 dollar range from HYDRAULIC PARTS AND SERVICE..... 1 620-594-2247. You have to know if it is a leather piston cup or a rubber one to ensure that you get the right part
