Excellent job on that garage. Love that you mounted those large cabinets off the great, very cool touch.

And hey i'm just throwing that out there but those latest small gladiators that you mounted above the gladiator bench, could they be reached by standing on the bench? :) The whole place looks great!

Annoying with the restrictions on how much of that cardboard can be collected. That would annoy the heck out of me coming to the finish line with my garage and then sitting on some scraps you can't get rid of.

Oh yea.... and thanks
^dubber, Ive changed my avatar to a larger and more HD version for ya! Enjoy

Nice work with your tandem 3 car garage, that would be nice to have since you can have the work area in the back like you did. I like it!

-Michael

I believe both are of the same gauge metal. Both have magnetic closing doors and lockable. Also both have leveling legs. The costco new age ones came assembled to me on a huge pallet so it was much less work to set up compared to the gladiator ones. Which needed 2 people to assemble for each cabinet and took forever.. But I do prefer the look of the gladiator ones. As for quality, they both seem durable enough especially since I am not overloading them. I think either one you pick will be a good choice! There is a sale right now on gladiator cabinets I posted in the hot deals section you might want to take a look at

You painted them colors because you are Toyota inspired or work at toyota? :)

I didnt even realize my color scheme matched a toyota dealership garage. I honestly just came on GJ to look for inspiration and ended up choosing these colors, but I dont mind that it looks the same, I like it! :D

Finally got a car! Was searching for a Audi A7 for awhile but couldnt find any near me in the package / color combination I wanted for the right price. Finally one popped up in Spokane Washington. Called up the dealership and negotiated it down to a price I was comfortable paying and brought my friend along with me and flew up there. I was debating on just paying for round trip flights to check out the car and then paying to ship the car back, but I figured I might as well book one way flights and drive the car back and make a roadtrip out of it. Total 25 hours driving spread out over 5 days, so it wasnt too bad.

Stayed in Seattle the first night, then headed to portland, San Francisco, and back home.

Its a 2012 Certified Audi A7. Ibis White exterior with black interior. 20" Sport Package, Innovation Package, and Bang & Olufson sound system.

Anyway, onto the pics!

A7 = Superb choice. Your previous cars indicate you like the mods, do you have plans for this one or will you leave it as is?

I'm jealous of your road trip. I did a similar thing back in '08. Cleveland to Calgary with my buddy in a 2006 Cadillac STS-V. Lots of fun.

Great score! So how was the drive getting to know your new car?

Took awhile to get used to all the new technology, but my favorite feature has got to be the adaptive cruise control. It just works flawlessly, I never had to step on the brakes because the car would just automatically slow down for me in there was a car in front. And I can choose the distance from 1 car up to 4 car lengths :3gears:

I plan on lowering it and putting some wheels on. Maybe intake / exhaust too but we'll see how much I actually do, nothing too crazy though

Added some metal pegboard, still need to purchase the peg hooks though. Having some difficulty finding some 1/4" peg hook kits.

Installed a gladiator track underneath the cabinets with hooks. Still not sure what to hang there yet but I'm sure Ill have find some use for it

Purchased a ladder hanger from home depot for $6. Best thing ever, now I dont have to keep leaning the ladder on the cabinets and taking up space.

Got a 2014 loaner A7 while mine is having the night vision camera replaced. The dealer I bought it from in Washington found out that the night vision camera had a crack in the lens the day before I was coming up to pick the car up. They didnt have enough time to repair it so they told me to take it to a dealer local to me and that they would cover all the charges for repairs. Very honest of them. But now I'm without my new car for 5 days :(

That's exactly what I told my wife when I bought my Ralliart. Well, a year later it had all possible bolt ons, a tune, wheels and the list goes on. Lol

Very nice garage, colours look great, and the storage came together nicely.

...have been trying to figure out if there is anyway to fit a workspace and a car, but like you said it's just not big enough.

Try working with a single ~10 x 20 garage! You just have to get real creative. Hopefully mine begins this spring/summer.

Good to see some Qatari representation in Seattle with the Aventador!

Lovely A7 and garage, interested to see where you go with both of them
