A coworker told me to check this out.

Really nice collection of tools and nice box. Potty mouth dude behind the camera though.. haha. Is this guy a member here?

I thought this sparkling clean collection of tools seemed a bit ridiculous.. almost as if it was a hobby rather than something used for Work?

Yep that's MNJ. He just posted yesterday in the show your new tools thread. If I remember right he started out working out of his garage with all harbor freight tools and moved into a shop and kept growing. Switched over to mostly Mac tools. Has some really good posts on here like "want to make a cheap smoke tester". He took a lot of **** on here about his harbor freight tool collection, think he owned one of everything they sold! But he used them and they worked good for him. He also kept the HF tools as clean as the ones in his box. He took some **** for how clean the tools were but he uses them. Just likes to keep them clean.

Who the hell says potty mouth?

All kidding aside, MechanicNamedJohn gave me the idea to make my own Frankenratchet from those videos and it's been a game changer for me on certain projects.

How many F'n badges does Mac need to show who made the box ? Its the main reason I wont buy one. They look so cluttered.

Who knows?
I'm still trying to figure out how he got the Mac dealer to throw in those two great looking Mechanics Assistants?

I guess he got the "Mac" daddy of a tool deal that month. Lol.

Seriously though, MNJ did a lot to show that HF isn't as bad as people think they are, and that you can start up a business without selling your soul to the bright shiny tool trucks.

I remember his first posts here from his little home-garage type shop and all the HF tools. The guy must have saved a huge mountain of cash by not going into tool debt when he started out, and it seems to have worked out well for him.

Much respect from me.

now someone just needs to start a petition, to get him to post some "how to" vids on youtube. i need another form of wasting my time that doesnt cost me money like this this ****** place does... youre all a bunch of enablers.. [closing my new milwaukee tool box, and turning my heated jacket on low] the longer his videos are, the less time im on here convincing myself that i need something else i know ill never use..

Lol. I'm working on getting a GoPro to make the "How To" videos easier to make.

I just uploaded an hour of videos a few days ago.

A few years ago it seemed far fetched to do it all on HF tools however he did it just fine.

It would surprise me far less this last few years now that Ive seen some of the newest stuff they are pumping out and owning a few of them.

Mac Daddy, what process do you use to clean your tools? I have tools that do not look as clean as your white tools. And mine are not white. I would like to have mine look cleaner. I sometimes think twice before bringing some tools inside a car. I would like some tips, on cleaning them.

I just watched the video in the link above. It was my first time, watching one of your videos. I plan on checking out some more.

Why hate on the guy? Hey man nice box and pretty tools to go with it. The ones who hate wished they had what you have. Just because one takes pride in his tools and keep them clean don't mean they are not used.

I am a ToolAholic,Sometimes I regret it,Especially when the Toolman wont give me no credit
