Garage door insulating / weatherstripping

Greetings,
I'm well into my workshop reno. The electrics, insulation, drywall and HEAT are done:) My problem is the garage door. I realize the the door itself is a huge heat loss but my bigger problem is the wind. The door is a standard Coplay 7'x9' insulated door. The entire mechanism is about 10 years old. The door faces the north and I live across the street from a field. When the wind blows hard, as it is doing tonight, it pushes the door away from the weatherstrip and there goes my heat. I bought new exterior weatherstrip that I'll probably install tomorrow. Temps tonight are going to be flirting with 0 deg F so the flexibility of the weatherstrip is next to zero. I'm afraid if I make it too tight to the door, the door won't operate easily. I park my DD in there so it's got to work.
Does anybody know of a product or have any other ideas of perhaps adding another weatherstrip on the interior of the building?
Regards
Craig

Looks like you're pretty new to GJ so Welcome. Lots of great resources here that will be able to help you out . . . IF . . . enough info provided.

What overlap trim do you have on the exterior of garage door ?? Let's see PICS of both inside and outside. You might as well get your first . . . ;)

:needpics:

Update your GJ Profile with City/State/Country as well so that nearby resources might be suggested. Good luck.

Thanks for the welcome. Been lurking from time to time for a little while now. Updated my profile as to location. As for pictures, sorry but the fire place is toasty and I aint going outside. :scared:
Im not sure what you mean by overlap trim. If your referring to the length of the weatherstrip "strip of rubber" it's about 1 3/16"
Cheers

Greetings again,
I wanted to follow up this thread and relate to you GJ people about the experience I had with Green Hinge.
I ordered the hinges late on a Friday night. Saturday morning I received a phone call from Lester, the owner of Green Hinge. He was calling to make sure I had ordered what I needed. It seems as though he gets a lot of mistakes when folks order from his website. I had ordered the correct kit. He then proceeded to APOLOGIZE that he wouldn't be able to get them shipped out until Monday. I would have been more than satisfied to receive them by the end of the following week. They were at my door on Wednesday. We were chatting on the phone for a good 20 minutes. He wanted to know where I had heard about his product. I told him it was the folks on the Garage Journal. He said "awe geez, I can't thank them folks enough". He is having some difficulty in marketing his product and really appreciated the referral.
As far as the hinges themselves, I am impressed. Easily twice as beefy as the stock hinges I replaced. My workshop is noticeably less drafty and they took about 20 minutes to install. At a little over $100.00 delivered to my door I feel I have received a good value.
Made in America, by a regular hard working guy with an idea. What a concept.....
Regards

Put a set of Green Hinges on my shop's overhead garage door this evening. Took about 20 minutes including the time it took to roundup and put away the tools. They work
