I've updated the original post for everyone. Sorry to disappoint, it's really unfortunate for me as I was really looking forward to this little project I had started. I'm not one that likes to get halfway through things, so this is a bit of a downer for me. But due to the opportunity in front of me, I have to take advantage of it. Some updates...

Yes, I'm working closer on this and I'm now working with getting pricing for custom duties and other import fees to work on a total.

- The $200 per item is STILL attainable. Let's hope the total fees will be under $24.

- Consumables are available and considerably cheaper than eBay. Well, quite a bit cheaper. They consist of an electrode, tip, and a cup. The electrode and tip is sold as one unit and the cup as another unit. The cost is 75 cents per electrode/tip and 50 cents per cup. To keep things uniform, I propose to bundle them with 10 tips, 10 electrodes, 5 cups for $10. If you want more, just throw in another $10. They will be coming in bulk and I will have to bag them to make those $10 kits.

- Item carton weight is 26 lbs and measures 18" x 11" x 15". Using my shipping account (I run a company, remember) max shipping looks like $35 by shipping to Miami, FL (as an example) so anything between Spokane and Miami should be less. For those living further south in the Florida Keys, forgive me.

- Once I have brokerage port dues, custom dues, shipping from Tacoma Port to Spokane, and whatever is there, I will post the final total and provide information on how & where to send payment should you wish to move forward. I should know in the next few days.

- To make things smoother, I need to know if you all are open to using USPS Money Orders only.

Just so there is no confusion, the Ebay model that costs a little over $200 is the base cut50 model, this thread is about the cut50F (pilot arc model) which is around $340-375 on Ebay.

they will soon be back at $279 and eventually lower. After 17 years on ebay, I know all of these sellers' tricks.

How would accepting a couple of hundred mailed US money orders be easier than paypal? That would mean taking days to receive them, signing them or DEPOSIT ONLY, taking them to the bank, waiting to make sure they are real and clear (because they can even be faked or stop payment put on them), hoping the USPS doesn't loose them. That sure sounds harder than a few mouse clicks with paypal. Yes I know with this amount you would have to show on your taxes but you show what you paid and what you brought in and only have to be taxed on any PROFIT.

Just my thoughts...

Is it possible to send usps money order from Canada? I was planning on picking up units in US to keep shipping simple and bring back to Canada. Would prefer PayPal myself so I don't have to make that trip multiple times. Or can you send from online website somehow?
