Flush BendPak SP-7X question, about to pour concrete

I’m installing a flush mount BendPak SP-7X. I’ve looked at the manual and the other posts on the forum but I still have a few questions:

(1) In looking at the diagram below I’m confused as to what the cross hatched section represents. I’m assuming that the center of the hole is 2 5/8” from the vertical concrete and that the cross hatch section doesn’t denote anything.

(2)As drawn, there will only be 1 5/8” of concrete above the 2” access pipe which is much less than I’d like. I’m not sure how tight the hydraulic and air connections are. Can the pipe be moved lower?

(3) Anything else that I need to think about?

First off you'd need to orient yourself with the section A-A on the preceding print that shows the direction of the detail diagram that you are looking at. The cross hatch usually represents solid structure, in this case looking up at you (like the leg of an angle iron). It appears the detail was done to show the dimension detail is indeed to the outer edges.

I have this same lift (surface mounted).

The hydraulic hose is about 9/16" diameter, and the 1/4" nylon air line is just that. A 2" pipe is plenty large enough.

The pipe can be right at the bottom of the recessed area, as the hydraulic and air lines come out flush with the bottom so it will be a straight shot into the pipe.

redmondjp, that's exactly what I needed to know regarding the depth of the pipe. Should the pipe be centered 2 5/8" from the vertical face at the top of the "u"?

I don't know that it makes any difference. On mine, the hoses come out on the side due to the (removable) ramp on the end. In a flush-mount installation those ramps aren't there so I suspect that the hoses can then come out the end without any issue.
