deleted useless text thank you DC73

I wanna thank everyone here for all the Info and knowledge..

OK this is my first post,

The house is in SE WI it has 100amp service (3awg from the meter) no idea about whats going to the meter from the pole. I have a 22'x22' attached garage I want to add a 60a sub panel to. I have approx 100' of 4/3 romex. The run will be approx 75'. I want to run this up to the unfinished attic then over to the garage then down to box.

There's a laundry room / breezeway in between that I cant access physically, small space. Can I push a piece of 1 1/2" or 2" sch 80 thru this space then a 1 1/2" or 2" Type-LB Non-Metallic Conduit Body for the down to the box run in the same type conduit? Using an "s" curve type fitting if they make one.

Can I leave the romex out of conduit for the rest of the run from the basement to attic to this wall section?

The box I want is a Square D QO 100 Amp 20-Space 20-Circuit Indoor Main Breaker Load Center QO120M100C. The 100a main for the house is QOB20M100 series G1.

How many holes can be drilled thru a joist there's a few already on the wall side going from one end of the house to the other? Can i drill thru the joists near the center main steel support beam say a foot to the right of said beam? centered vertically on said joist no holes near this beam?

Can I run the wire up next to the stack pipe? or up thru a wall? I want to do whats preferred. Yes it will be a PITA to go thru joists but is just a few really and the EMT conduits are in my way from the lighting of the basement to run on the surface of the joists in conduit.

All appliances are electric except the furnace that's NG. Water heater when it goes will be changed to NG.

There's a 50A sub in the basement I installed to clean up some Dumb wiring... the kit and a bdrm were on the same circuit etc. Box I installed QO612L100DF.

Going to want to run a 4post lift small welder 110v, small air compressor 110v, small shop tools, 20 some 20 amp outlets on 2 or 3 circuits Gfci on first outlet of each circuit for outlets. A jack-shaft garage door opener(future) 20a dedicated circuit, lighting not sure yet. outlets will be 12/2 lights 14/2.

I'm no electrician but have a good understanding of electric thanks to my Dad. Some terminology may be wrong sorry.

I understand these are questions that depend on the electrical code in my area. But what would the standard be? Just looking for a little guidance please.

Here is the 60a sub I added.

View media item 48351
There was a 2gang junction box where the new sub is, it was mounted up where the conduit comes in on the upper left.

The two wire nuts in the upper corner were in the junction box and run to the water heater they will be eliminated when the electric water heater dies for a NG power vented one. I know its not a problem code wise to have em in there but I don't like it.

any comment on this or answers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

60a Sub in garage questions

I've done a lot of searches here trying to find my answers. I've been looking thru the NEC but I haven't found what I'm looking for exactly.

I guess if only a few questions might be answered please.

For the vertical run to the attic do I need to do anything special?

Can I have more than one Sub on a 100a panel? Namely a 50a and a 60a?

To free up a spot in the main for the 60a I hope to move the existing garage circuits out of the main of course to the garage and put the basement lights in the 60a sub. That is if i can have the 2 subs :dunno:

The range and dryer are in the main panel. Water heaters in the 50a sub.

I can take pictures if needed.
Thank you

Normally nothing special needs to be done. Depends if wire is exposed or within in the wall cavity.
