These are my babies. The bare blade is the one that I use most often and occasionally I use the bucket scoop that I built. Both have adhoc weights on the back end. Haven't managed to get a blower yet but hopefully soon.

That bucket attachment is really slick. Giving me ideas for my next project!

Let me know if you need anything and I'll try to help you out. It goes 8" past the edge in the down mode so that you can rotate up a bit and make the bucket deeper to hold more. I only had an early photo (still had more changes to make) in the partially rotated position.

Nice skidsteer. Never heard of that particular model. I have an old bobcat 610 that has paid for itself many times over. Probably the best piece of equipment an land owner can buy. I know they are expensive but once you get one you will wonder how you ever lived without one.

I have shovels, 2 snow blowers, a riding mower with a plow and a 1948 8n with a back blade.

They all require me to be out in the cold.

I use this for 95% of my snow.

As Wayne County will never plow our dead-end road, I found good reason to get my own...

Wayne county never does anything unless it is a main road. Thankfully I'm in livonia and the city does a wonderful job plowing my neighborhood curb to curb, usually with a 30k lb front end loader or road grader (living within a mile of the DPW helps)

You should document your plans and sell as "kit" or even build more for resale.

Very nice. That's perfect size small snow blower setup. Drive it off of utility trailer and go to town making money. $$$$$$

My Yukon with "Snowsport" blade

This is my GMC Yukon with front 2" hitch and a "snowsport" blade that is cheap but really does a great job.

This is after plowing 18" of snow on 1 mile of lane and driveways.

I got it used from a local guy for $600 and it's been great for what I need.

Here's my Ariens that is around 35 years old.
I purchased it a few years ago on eBay, and it has served me well.
I installed the tire chains today.

EDIT: It's about 45 years old, not 35. It's from the 1969 - 1970 era.

Over here most people have a shovel at best as the snow is infrequent, the problem is when it does come in decent amounts the whole country is paralysed as a result. It also means that used snowblowera/ploughs are like the proverbial rocking horse ****.

Yeah but there's the whole tornadoes versus snow storm thing. Not to mention droughts, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, monster insects, alligators, etc.

Overall, not a bad place to live but right now, I am soooo sick of the cold. Bring on spring... please.

It's a Stewart&Stevenson RSS1000COP. The design is from Rolba which was made in Germany. S&S only built them for a few years and then gave up on the idea. Too bad to cause its a really good blower, it's getting replaced by Oshkosh's H series blowers, which after spending one night in I've determined to be the biggest ************* known to man.
