Hi boys and girls,

I found this on reddit while taking a break from studying. Again, sorry if this has been posted before (I have never seen it on GJ). Probably the most serious tool box I have ever seen. Makes the SO tool wagon look like a kid's toy.

Enjoy your week

I've seen it before and say the same poser, want to be, sad. Throwing snap on badges on lower quality boxes. It's a well put together conglomeration of low to mid grade components.

That's pretty neat, but has two glaring engineering flaws. No work lighting and requires nearly a billiard table flat surface to operate on.

Maybe it's a low rider with air shocks for when the going gets rough.

They could be using it to service equipment out in their lot once in a while. But then it should have a canopy with awning that stretches over the equipment being serviced. Did I mention bar? Expresso machine…

If my shop were that big I might like something like that.

There isn't any parking lots or any kind of paved area that stay smooth enough for that thing due to the freeze-thaw cycle around here.

That said, jack it up a bit, and if it has a compressor, it's pretty much a complete shop. Toss in a portable garage, and you could even deal with some crappy weather.

It's nice, if you work at a large plant, might be better with a service truck though.

Wow, it took some doing to make that thing. If it were me, money were no object, and the ground was flat, I think I would prefer to fabricate a work station that instead uses mechanum wheels for limitless maneuverability. But then I would have a hard time getting anything done, because I would spend hours moving the workstation around aimlessly just so I could watch those crazy wheels operate.

I have never ever seen anything like that. F me to tears, if I ever win the lotto, I'm getting one!

Oh ya the original post. Ah, that's ok. I'll give whoever built a major pat on the back. But if I was going through that much work, it'd be a he'll of a lot more usable. Lot of wasted space and like you guys said, worthless on anything other then a perfectly flat area. It sure doesn't look like it has the ability to raise and I suspect if it did, they would have shown that off, I sure as hell would of.

Pretty sure it's for a plant..would be great actually..I don't think space or uneven surfaces is an issue with what it's designed for

The amount of criticism that this guy's box has garnered is hilarious. Why won't you guys just admit that this guy made a really cool box? Because he DID!

I like the golf cart steering wheel complete with clip for golf score sheets. He can put his tool receipts in it.

One negative- It is too low to the ground for anywhere I worked. That being said, that is an awesome contraption. You guys are saying it is crappy for one reason or another without even knowing how it gets used and what its specific application is. It might be perfect for what it is intended for. You've got to give it to the guy, that it is really cool and looks like he spent a lot of time making a unique creation. I would think all tool guys would be praising it. Seriously, how many of us have spent entirely too much time and money on a project only to find out that if we could do it again we would make some changes? The freedom we have to exercise our inventive spirit is what makes America the greatest country that has ever existed. I for one would have been proud of that box had I invented it and think he did a great job. I would buy him a beer and listen to his fabrication story.

Is there any reason for it to be that low?All that low overhang in the back seat part looks a little retarded.

Yea....it's a cool box.......but....how practical is it? About par to having an Indy car as a daily driver.
