He went a little more than is required. Three coats of the base, flake, and then a single coat of clear. Most of our customers are simply doing two coats of the gray, no flake, no clear.

You have to wait 12 hours between coats of gray and we suggest 24 before doing the clear.

Are you looking for someone who wants just solid black? or can it have the gray flakes added to it with a clear coat? And what kind of a price am I looking at for roughly 700sqf of floor

What's the maximum time (without having to sand/scuff) between coats (gray to gray and gray to color top)?

Also, is there an adverse effect on the rust bullet adhesion/longevity if one polishes and densifies first?

Coats need to be done within 48 hours.

You can absolutely use a densifier first. HOWEVER, in most cases you will see an increased gloss level and that could create an adhesion concern. If you have a 'high gloss' floor you will need to profile it.
