safety glass mod for pencil holder

I got frustrated because I can't hold a pencil behind my ear with safety glasses on. I now wear safety glass 100% off the time in the shop because I've had so much **** get in my eyes over the years. Pulling wood or metal splinters out of your eye ball *****. I looked online for safety glasses with a pencil holder, but there is only a giant clip and some stuff where you need a 3d printer to make. I broke the end of a pen cap and super glued it to the glasses. Works perfect, just as easy as your ear with no glasses on.

Nice thinking! Looks like I've got to make me one of those. I too have learned the hard way and now wear safety glasses 100% of the time. Eyesight is far too precious!

I have the same problem but with my ears, one seems to be less grippy than the other so if I stick my pencil behind the wrong one it falls out, time for plastic surgery maybe or just superglue some grippy rubber to the back of my ears?

My inability to hold a pencil with my ear was my reason not to enter the trades. I didn't think I could stand the shame.:(
Nice mod!

You look way too happy about your mod in that pic.....:lol_hitti

haha. That was the second picture. The first picture I looked pissed off and angry so I decided to smile for the second. I'm not a selfie expert and it was a weird angle. I can say that it worked great all night, as long as I remember to put the pencil back and not leave it on the cutting table!

Why didn't you have the top half of your ear pierce to the right dimension. It is in style nowadays, and no need for fancy gadgets that you might misplace.
It think it would be very stylish and the women will love you too.

I also wear a hat and. Have glasses. The hat holds the pencil or pen perfectly, just don't stab yourself in the temple.

Late addition but applicable: there is a readily available solution that is more natural in how it works. It acts more like holding it in your ear and doesn't move around the glasses when you remove the pencil. I have them in the garage, basement, tool box, and truck.
Check 'em out.
