Very interesting building techniques, I really admire how nice they build everything in Finland / Sweden / Norway - Is there a term for that?

Thanks! You mean the build of the Garage? No term not that i know of. Everything just had to build very solid so that the frost wont move your buildings :)

Yes, all buildings look to be built very much more sturdy than the USA as a minimum. "SCANDANAVIA" is the term I was looking for!

Great projects!

I also considered doing an underground part, but would have cost too much and the lot was not very convenient for that kind of structure.

Thank you guys!

Any possibility you could elaborate on this? From where, specs, how much? Here or PM. Need to get one for mine in the near future, and have to take this into consideration already in the planning to have the rail somehow attached to the ceiling... Would eliminate the need the for the typical engine hoist.

Moikka from Espoo!

Why the dual welding process MIG/Stick on the pontoons? Just out of interest since I couldn't figure it out. :) I have the same MIG welder as you it was absolutely amazing to weld thin sheet with the Kemppi MinarcMig 200 Evo for the first time after having used an old Aga Viking with almost no adjustment at all. :)

Moro Erkka

Stick welds cools more slowly because of the slag and that should make the weld stronger. Or so I was told by professionals.

Kemppi MinarcMig 200 is super nice
