it was a craigslist score, a really nice logitech system for $60, Z-5300 is the model # i believe. I got the loudest garage stereo on my block

i guess i will have to get another digital cable box from time warner to get the music from them. i think they rent them so up goes the cable bill again! jim
I have 1000's of songs on a usb stick and mine is able to be used as a tuner so i get radio stations as welli have a old surround system but no "tuner". what are you guys using with your s/s to get your music. jim
Remember. Sub woofers are non directional. Meaning you don't need them facing you. If you have your tweeters facing you, and your mid range on the side. You should put your sub on the other side of the room. down low. Subs in the back of say a car should either point down, or be 2" away from a panel so that the sound can hit the panel and go back. On the sub I see on the shelf. The sound comes from the port.
I was given a digital projector and screen at work, and keep telling my wife that I plan on installing them in the garage so that I can sit in my car and watch movies on a big screen like I am at the drive-in. She keeps begging me not to, but I can't think of a reason not to.

What would she rather you do? Spend time with her? (But seriously, would she prefer the projector inside the house or does she not want it at all?)
I am going to put my Epson projector in the garage when I upgrade to a better one in my theater. I think it will be cool to sit in the car like a drive-in. Here was my view for the Daytona 500...I was given a digital projector and screen at work, and keep telling my wife that I plan on installing them in the garage so that I can sit in my car and watch movies on a big screen like I am at the drive-in. I do have a radio out there, it's not the same I know, but it works OK, and I mostly listen to NPR or WPR (Wisconsin Public Radio) so not having a state of the art sound system in the garage isn't all that important to me.I debated same. Super happy to have tunes there though as it's now something else I look forward to when it comes to shop time.
