Tool box liners

Ok well forgive me if I missed it but the only thread I found was from 2005.. I have a snap on classic 96 triple bank,and I'm looking for some good heavy duty drawer liners. The ones I have now are thin and my tools slide all over. I don't know if there snap on liners or not as I bought the box as a repo. Any suggestions or links would be appreciated.. I want something heavy duty that my tools will stick to and won't slide all over

The Snap On KRL stuff is ****. Expensive like fake ****, too, but it sticks like nothing else I've tried.

I added a drawer to my box and bought some liners for the middle box on my cart... tried to find an alternate source for the stuff, found the OEM in a thread somewhere here, but they won't sell it to anyone else. But SO should sell a full set for your box, meaning cheaper per unit and no cutting required.

I use yoga mats from a store called "five below". I'm happy with them but I've never tried the snap on liners. I'm sure they would be nice...

3mm yoga mats are in my classic 78. They perform brilliantly.

I like the Gator Grip. They have extra thick as well and they are very sticky. I have however heard of issues when / if they get hot (as in a hot shop or outside). I'm told a tool may stick to the mat and, if not careful, you could bring the entire drawer contents with you trying to remove one tool!! I don't have that problem, but wanted to note that.

This is one of those times that the Harbor Freight stuff is actually pretty good. The solid liner, not the stuff that looks like kitchen shelf liner. It's thin but sticky.

Most drawer liners don't seem to work for my use. They move and bunch up. I cut gray indoor-outdoor carpet to fit, and it doesn't go anywhere.

The liner from Nusource is as close to KRL drawer liner as you're likely to find. (same PVC material and thickness).

You don't want thick liner!! .050" thickness will work just fine.

Thick liner (like carpet or yoga mats) will take away precious drawer height which will prevent a fully loaded drawer from closing.

I only need ONE...and I cant get it...drawer is 30" Deep and 56" wide so my options for a single piece liner are some-what limited...

My SO Guy gave me a piece he had kicking around...covers 1/2 the drawer, so I only got a few tools in it, but I'd like to actually use the drawer.

Que? You can buy individual drawers or sheets. You might need to spoonfeed your guy the PN, they don't catalog it very well, but it exists. There's a page of it in the KRL owner's manual, FYI. I'll try to remember to look when I get home... would a 1022 fullwidth work for yours?

Has anyone tried the Viper brand? I was looking at using them for my box at home. The ones that come in the HF box slide and bunch up.

I got some liners at Lowes. Made in USA and supposedly has some kind of corrosion inhibitor. Sorry, I cant remember the name but they still sell it and it works well for me. Price is very reasonable.

I put the Zerust liner in my box. Sticks enough that it doesn't bunch up, not so sticky that tools pull it up. It's thin, and fairly inexpensive too.

This is an EPIQ Drawer...I can get the exact dimensions, but he said he called it in and full sets only...and as a "Sorry" he just gave me the biggest piece he had laying around...is about 5" too short and 20" too narrow..

You made me think...just went to look and sure enough..looks like 30AE35154NS is what I need Thanks!!!

I have the Kobalt from Lowe's as well. I love it and it is 22.5" deep which is the exact same depth as all of my drawers so that was a big plus.

This is one of the few times Id reccomend something from hf. They aren't so liner but they are pretty fair! I've had good luck with mine so far

SO guy during two trips just told me "get me exact dimensions & I'll get some cut" for just @ $10 a drawer. Kind of pissed me off the 1st time since I'd cut it, but round 2 did it in. Ordered up a 4 roll pack of Raptor Grab, got it installed and it will work it appears.
Holds wrenches well, no slippage but will see how the hot weather and too much grip does.
I'm drinking too much coffee again, only reason to come back in and see the woman. Oh, and put up with you guys so more.
