LED shop light not coming on - ID this component?

I bought several LED shop lights. One is being replaced under warranty because it won't come on. HD doesn't want it back so I opened it up to see if I could fix it. The board inside seems to be getting 120 V but isn't sending anything to the LED strip. The component I indicated in the following pics seems to be damaged and there is a small scorch on the heat shrink that covered the board where that component was located. If y'all can tell me what I am looking at, I will try and buy a new one and replace it. My electronics know-how is limited but I could probably manage to solder in a new whatzit if someone will hold my beer.

The purpose of that MOV is most likely to catch transients and protect other circuits - under normal conditions it shouldn't be doing anything - so as a test before investing anymore into this, you could remove it and see if the light works. My guess is that whatever blew it up, took out other parts...

I would try to look at the 4 prong component, I wonder if it could be a rectifier bridge. See if you can locate a part number and measure for voltage. Looks like there is a capacitor after it to smooth the ripples.

Another reason to have a whole house surge suppressor.

I would check the voltage output from that supply on the working unit, and then buy a new power supply with the required specs and repower the LED.

Thanks - it looks like a new power supply might be cheaper and easier than replacing individual components. I'll take a look at the output on one of the working units when I have a chance to take one down.
