Picked up a few more channellocks and the KIWI pliers off of Amazon. Had a gift card and some discover card points burning a hole in my pocket. should compliment the one I posted a couple weeks back. Slowly replacing the stuff that has seen better days.

Added another new 'Precision Instruments" Torque wrench, #M2R200HX, 3/8" drive. 30-200 inch lbs., clicker. I needed this for small fasteners on M/C's.

I bought the Snap on version back in the 80s, and had my dealer put in a 1/4" drive kit. I used it to adjust the bands on 727 Torqueflites.

I have the same set but the older Bonney style, great wrenches. Quick question hopefully someone can answer, a majority of my wrenches have worn out with heavy use and the open ends have seen better days (spreading, and smushed flat spots) would that be covered under warranty? I no longer have a dealer so I would have to mail them in.

Todays purchase from the snap-on man. 1/4" drive deep metric sockets for $130. The long screwdriver set was about $120.

And from the cornwell man.

Is the coo on those adjustables Spain?

No, Taiwan. I believe that they are the same as MAC precision adjustable wrenches (other than the MAC's have a black finish). They have the same number coding stamped in the end of the handle similar to the way WF marks their wrenches.

I spent a little bit of money filling up some of my drawers:

-Complete Craftsman universal socket set
-Extensions, breaker bar, and composite HF ratchets

-Some pliers. The crescent compound action pliers are great

-Some Gearwrenches. Hated the wrench racks.

-I liked the handles, so I just started buying stuff...

I hate these racks too.

Not a new tool per se, but something related (and new). Huge plug for Zoro, ordered this (and a flammable cabinet Justrite shelf) from Ebay Monday am, and came home yesterday (Tuesday pm) to this and the shelf. Outstanding service and value.

Some of the things I've picked up from Menards lately.

$2 Hammer-

The allens were on sale, and I needed the hammers for wheel bearing/hub replacement on my equinox. Picked up the c'sink drill bit for a project, and needed to replace some No.2 quick change bits.

Got the Clamps on sale.

Got the Gearwrench metric and SAE long handle sets with one fixed end and the other ratcheting. Also got the metric mid length socket sets in 1/4" and 3/8". All came from NTX.

Also got a 120xp ratchet from eBay.
