Found a killer deal on a bunch of armstong and matco today. Everything is brand new! Best part I only paid 200 for all off it. I will be keeping a few ratchets and selling the rest. I will post stuff here in the classifieds after I get 50 posts.

I'll say it, YOU ****!!!

Although if the Police knock on your door asking about stolen tools, it's not me.

I believe you really scored because the 1/4 drive fixed head ratchets have that funky symbol by USA that means they're the 88 tooth aerospace ratchet:thumbup:

Compare the ratcheting action between the fixed 1/4 and flex 1/4 and you'll see what I mean.

Went on kind of a buying binge today. Lincoln 140HD welder from Home Depot. Grabbed a few welding accessories also. Gloves, chipping hammer, cover for the machine. Picked up a Chicago Electric hammer drill and 14" cut-off saw from Harbor Freight. Found a welding helmet I like on ebay and a welding cart on Northern Tools that will be ordered soon...

The puller I actually got a few weeks ago, but just recently had the chance to use it for the first time. I REALLY love it. Its great for pulling or just holding pressure wile tapping down a high spot. Its really worth every penny.

The 1/4 inch, bit combo thing was on the impulse shelf on the Snap-On truck.

How does the puller work? It's hard to tell what it looks like from your pic.

is there a link? I have a few of those from Lowe's. They are the best socket rails I own, but they're expensive.

Emergency purchase yesterday on the long nose Crecent X2. Not sure about them. Seem kinda gimmicky but they worked in a pinch. H.D. Didn't have any long Channel Locks. Also needed a very small pair of needle nose pliers. My 40 year old Craftsmans broke the tip off and my 25 year old Craftsmans bent so I needed another pair quickly. No Channel Locks in that size at either store. Figured Sears will warranty with a R.O.C. Made tool so I won't bother. And bought the Husky pack to finish the job. Those will most likely be throw aways or loaners. Will probably replace the Crescent and Husky's with some Knipex. I want to try some of those.

I like the Torin magnetic organizers for pliers. Bought one last week to try it. Worked well so I bought another.

I thought about getting a set of those. How does the quality seem? Were they made by Danaher?
I'm not sure. I'm gonna guess yes. Seem pretty solid. Its my first set of crowsfeet so I'm not sure about the differences. I think they're similar to craftsman old usa stock

They were made by Allen, Danaher is a holding company.

Oh gosh, not this again.
He wants to know if the tools were made in the same factories that Danaher was using for other brands, e.g. Craftsman or Napa, at the time.
But you knew that, didn't you.

If you'd like a few more from Lowe's, I've got a few extra pairs. I'd sell them to you, at cost, plus shipping.

They're just taking up room in my 2nd bedroom (tool room).

Up to you.

I also bought the X2's in an urgent situation. I too thought they were kitchy, until I used them more than once.

In my race truck, I've found that they fit the bill in long reach, confined area applications. They are tough, and work really well. The only drawback is that the grips are peeling a bit, and I'll have to find a way to re-dip them at one point.

In hindsight, I'm glad I bought them.

Picked this up this morning for $200. Snap on 3/4" torque wrench. The guy says he bought it 7 years ago and used it 5 times. By the looks of the wrench 5 or less uses is the truth. It's brand new!

Finally assembled - somewhat of a PITA to get together, most notably the pulley's aligned by myself so the belt doesn't run off.

Loved that bandsaw when I had it. Threw out the blade that came with it, though. Found the mobile base was overpriced, but really handy. Dust collection was a mandatory for me, and works well with that saw, oh, and the riser is an expensive hunk of metal, but required if you want to increase your resaw.

Thanks fellas. Was looking at this and a Jet model, and got it from the recent 15% off sale everywhere (purchased from Acme Tools). Arrived on Friday. The riser was part of the deal too, I just haven't tackled it yet. A little more difficult to assemble as a one man job. Thanks for the heads up on the blade. The riser kit comes with a longer blade, but I'll have to order some new ones. Any particular brand of blades you guys like?

Got both of these this week. The grinder was free (was my grandfathers) and the drill press was $220 off CL. The drill press needs a new bearing and a new chuck, but it is in great condition otherwise. Just need to figure out how to remove the bearings now... Haha

I got this to use on my truck. Cman 3/8" drive 25-250 ftlb. Anyone else have one. I didn't feel the click in the handle at all. Set it at 37 ftlbs where I needed it and nothing. I ended up borrowing a friends to finish up my truck

Yeah I think I got really lucky. The guy I got em from on craigslist told me that he gets pro grade tools all the time and that he would text me if he got anymore. I had a few members on here ask me me about the tooth count on the flex heads. I assumed they had 60 teeth because I just figured the new 88 tooth flex models hadnt been put into circulation quite yet, so out of curiosity I opened up the 1/4 and 3/8 flex that I kept for myself. To my surprise they both had 88 tooth kits in them! So for those member that I have sold flex ratchets to there is a good possibility that those ratchets have the 88 tooth kits as well. Here is a pic of my 3/8 armstrong flex.

finally caved and got this today

1/2 drive tech angle 2 :)

Got a decent enough deal on it, and got £65 (about $100) back on my ancient made in Taiwan Teng torque wrench which was pretty good, as it probably didn't cost me that when it was new :rocker:

Also got this US made Souix air drill off the Snap On truck, not heard of the brand before but seems a decent bit of kit, well enough made etc and was under £90, anyone else got any tools made by them?
