I have been coming to the forum for a while for tool advice etc. But I finally decided to join. There are so many knowledgeable people here. I am a trucker and not at home now. When I get back I will try to post a pic of my shop.

BL: you might want to change your name and re join to change your luck. :D

so how long are you on the road at a time and what are you trucking?

ask questions if you have any or just enjoy the reading and keep learning like most of us do.

I am gone between 4 to 6 weeks at a time. And I travel all 48 states. As for what I pull, it's mostly new trailers to deliver to customers, for example I just picked up a new Utility refer in Clearfield, Utah and am taking it to San Antonio, Tex. from there I could go anywhere. Ha, your right, if I thought my luck would change, I would for sure change my name, but I guess I'm a pessimist.

I really don't have worse luck than anyone else I don't think, it's just a silly name. I want to thank everyone for the welcome. My favorite states for scenery are Utah, the pacific northwest, California, and Arizona. With a name like drivesitfar, I guess your a driver too?

BL: Actually my name is one i made up about 15 years ago when i was hitting golf balls close to 400 yards and on the long drive golf tour. The last year i sold Real Estate full time in 2005 i probably drove close to 50,000 miles. i still drive quite a bit searching for old tools in most of those states you just mentioned.

I probably like the people in Western Montana the best because they are just friendly and speak English, but their roads are treacherous.

Have a great day and ask questions if you have any about using the forum and one of us will try to help if we see it or just enjoy the reading and share your wisdom when you can.

cheers
