Yes another thread about sonic cleaners.....
I have a small heated 2 liter one.. it works, i'm convinced on the Tech..
So time to upgrade to a much larger one.

I've looked at OmegaSonics as that is what our shop uses....but $$$$ puts it out of my reach right now.

So popular on Amazon is the Kendal brand...Either my google fu is weak..or I can not find much disappointment.. and we all know if it broke or disappointed, folks go to the internet to complain.

Customer reviews for the Kendal brand are good to better, and the few I read with complaints were taken care of by the supplier,, and easily fixed proactively if your willing to take the bottom of and route/ secure some wires.

Another brand from SharperTec is a strong runner up,, but the price is about double the Kendal brand.. Ups include a digital control panel and direct purchase from the maker (likely importer, not actually manufacture.. but still, the source)

Kendal 7.13 gal $679 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N5GSKQW/?tag=atomicindus08-20
10x Strengthened transducers make the ultrasonic more powerful(42 KHz ). Ultrasound power:600 Watts.

With a 500 Watts heater. Temperature setting: 20 to 80 degree C. Time setting: 0 to 20 minutes.
ALL STAINLESS Construction (body, tank, cover and mesh basket). Drains with flow control valve
Reliable mechanical control for setting up temperature and time. Product size:21"x13"x15"H

Sharper Tec 7.5 gal $2000.00 (that's getting close to the OmegaSonics $$$ range now)
ULTRASONIC CARBURETOR CLEANING SYSTEM WITH SWEEP SH600-25L- 18.5LX11.5WX8D 7.5 GALLONS MADE IN USA!

So anyone have anything to say about the Kendal brand?? Good or Bad?

I might step down a bit to the Kendal Commercial grade 980 watts 5.55 gallon (21 liters) heated ultrasonic cleaner HB821MHT

It would mean 4 bank carbs would have to be separated...but my more common singles, doubles and transmission parts would fit with ease.

Just to close out this thread, though no one responded. I ended up with the Sharper Tek brand, made in the US.
HEATED ULTRASONIC CARBURETOR CLEANING SYSTEM SH500-15L 4.5 GAL 11.5"×11"×8" (TANK L×W×DEPTH) - MADE IN USA
The 15L was the largest I could justify spending on right now,,,but will do all the "Have To's" and a lot of the "Want To's"

Units are on sale now, so call and talk to Tech/sales reps for best prices... much lower then what you see online.

Thanks for the pointer. I need one large enough for carbs and small engines before overhauling them.

Really happy with this brand so far
They were over the top patient and helpful on the research and decision process.

The quality seems good so far. Time and use will confirm

Do you mind posting what the unit cost you?

Thanks!!! One of these along with a hydraulic bike lift are on my list this spring. I'm going to order one with the shellac/varnish cleaner.

I bought both 5 gal of the shellac/varnish cleaner which is advertised as a "forever" deal.. strain it with cheesecloth, add water (I'll use distilled ) and it never "wears" out... just has water "carrier" vaporize off.

And a gal (20 gal mixed) of the 1220 cleaner/ degreaser.
The tank I bought has a 3/4" SS ball valve for easy fluid dump. i have two 7 gal plastic containers that I'll "store" the unused fluid in. swapping back and forth till I buy a second sonic tank (I want a larger one for four bank carbs, and larger motor/ transmission pieces, engine cases ect. )

And I already have two lifts ...lol.. so the next big tool is a OptiFlex2-B Powder coating applicator

EDIT.. Why are you looking at Hyd lifts for motorcycles? What are you lifting that needs Hyd vs Air?
