Can only imagine the hand cramps from it.
but if you don't need it all the time, can't see why it would be a bad choice.
Good find op.

Deal is back again at $29.96.

But even better this time around, because it is NOT a Hot Buy. It is just a regular sale price item, and is coupon code friendly for both Dollar Off and Points Back coupon codes and Surprise Points friendly.

It came in today, here's some pics. Definitely worth 30 bucks if/when it comes around again.

Deal is back $29.96.

I got one last time around, probably not good enough for a Radiator Shop. But great deal for occasional use for the weekend mechanic.

Although mostly all plastic, seems very well made. A very heavy gauge durable plastic.

Stupid question: So this is really only useful if you have a radiator leak somewhere right?

Cooling system leaks - Radiator, radiator cap, reserve bottle, hoses, loose clamps, water pump, head gasket. The beauty of this type of unit is that you can test the system cold, instead of having to find the leak on a hot engine.

Ive used both vacuum pumps and pressure pumps like these to leak test manifold gaskets on cars/bikes, test vacuum actuators for stuff etc etc, useful to have.

This one only pressure, they make pumps that do both in one as well but cost much more.

cool, in. free shipping and used points. worth it just for the adapters. heck even a rebuild kit for my other mityvac costs more than that...

Back again.

Also, you can use either the Surprise Points of $10 for $20 in tools, or add a small filler item to get your cart over $30 and use the $15 points for $20 tools. You should have one of those surprise points offers in you SYWR account that expires today (unless you've already used it).

I have their MV8500 kit, its nice as a standalone pump but the accuracy of the gauge ***** for anything critical like setting turbo wastegate cracking pressure.

I could have used this a couple of years ago. Been considering getting on since then. Saw this thread and bought one the other day - should be at the local Kmart for pick-up on Tuesday. This place is great. Thanks for the heads up.:beer:

As it turns out today....I have a need for this. Just ordered one. A few bucks cheaper than Amazon prime. Also found the pick set I was looking for finally got marked down for Craftsman Club, so I ordered that, too.

Thanks for the heads up.
