My garage is connected to the house via about a 15' breezeway. In the ground I have various utilities connecting the 2; power, data, catv. I also have a copper flex line bare on each end. Originally, this was what I assumed to be for future water to the garage. However, no drain to the sewer in the garage so no water. (so much for my sink and urinal; drain pipe installed goes to daylight) What I was able to do though, was push an air hose thru it. My compressor is in the garage, so would you find it handy to have air available in the basement?
If so, I am debating on how to do it. I can either hard pipe over to the copper line about 20' away. Or, I can use a 100' hose and reach the current air lines. As for in the basement, i'm thinking of converting the hose back over to hard pipe to my work bench. I can either set up another filter and pressure regulator or just forget about the hard pipe and put one of those pressure adjusters right on the hose.
Looking for some thoughts. Just don't know if the cost of hard pipe, regulator, filter, air hose, etc is worth air in the basement.
