Wow! That's a pretty sweet deal on the 15-degree offset box wrenches for $74.

Too bad it was just yesterday that I just bought the last few Craftsman pro (USA-made) 45-degree deep offset wrenches I needed to complete my set.

For someone looking for a whole set, that would appear to be a pretty good deal.

I like that they have a box on the left side of the screen where you can select it to view USA made items.

Nice feature, but the checkout process is horrible. You actually have to select your name (first and last), your city, street, etc from a drop down. Its very annoying, they should fire the IT guy that designed that ****.

So many IT people get blamed for things they have nothing to do with.

The blame lies with their marketing department, as they are responsible for the websites of Apex.

If the site crashes, then blame the IT guys.

Not to beat this, but that would be a first, a Marketing dept designing the ins and outs of how the checkout process of the CART works, how the fields are mandatory and how the information is entered. Sorry, but I don't buy that - its IT that overthinks things and adds whistles and bells they think improves the process, but they don't use it so they don't really know.
I would know, I've been working with IT for 25 years.

As another poster mentioned, you can select made in USA as a filtering option on the left. If you select that, the Crescent wrenches disappear.

Well...Then let the company I work for be the second. Our marketing firm designs the web site and has the web designer create it to their specs. Checkout process included.

Similar process at our company, except with our service tools. Marketing has no business designing technical interfaces.

Well, drat. Guess it's my own fault for checking this section. Just ordered the set of Armstrong metric box ends. Been looking for a set of shallow offsets so this is a good opportunity to try Armstrong wrenches.

If you're looking at the USA stuff - those armstrong/allen/apex sockets can also be had at Menards under their Masterforce brand. $17.99 for the 10pc 1/4dr 6pt set at Menards, $18.49 on this site. FWIW.

Are the Armstrong sockets essentially the same as the old USA Craftsman laser etched sockets? They look similar.

One reason I can think of is if you need to get one replaced, you will most likely end up with a lop sided Chinese made one.
