http://charlotte.craigslist.org/bfs/4949424541.html
"The sale is for a Early Sears Craftsman 6" Metal Turning Lathe. (lathe is total 32" Long)
Model 101-21400 included is the Operating Instructions, Tools Parts and Accessories You see in the pictures.
Over All Great Very Good appearance considering the age
We replace the Wire on the Motor.
Lathe has not been used in years And the previous owner was using it as wood lathe.
I am not an expert to test it for all its factions.
Controls, Chock and Side gears seem to be moving fine and it will change speeds. On the very top the back gear turns fine but when you engage with the choke gear it locks (see the gear in the very last picture) I don't know what is the purpose of that gear it don't seem to connecting on anything
Again the lathe has very good appearance for the age, but consider it might need some cleaning and a tune up before use.
Selling as a package I won't sell as parts.
Priced to Sell
If you see the listing Item is available"
