27 x 60 x 37 STEEL FRAME WORK BENCH - $40 (DTLA)

The steel top looks thicker than 1/4", probably solid 1/2". I think you could get more than $40 as scrap. This would make a great welding table.

Bring some muscle.

Anybody in the Charlotte Area?? If you buy either of these I'll take them off your hands in about 3 months when I'm back near Greenville. Please!! Lol :beer:

South bend Lathe - $500!!! http://charlotte.craigslist.org/tls/4949289804.html
"South bend lathe with stand.36"bed,length.Power cross feeds,3x longitudinal feeds for screw threads.Too many support pieces to list.A MUST SEE!"

Old Craftsman (Atlas?) metal lathe w/table of accessories - http://charlotte.craigslist.org/bfs/4949424541.html
"The sale is for a Early Sears Craftsman 6" Metal Turning Lathe. (lathe is total 32" Long)
Model 101-21400 included is the Operating Instructions, Tools Parts and Accessories You see in the pictures.
Over All Great Very Good appearance considering the age
We replace the Wire on the Motor.
Lathe has not been used in years And the previous owner was using it as wood lathe.
I am not an expert to test it for all its factions.
Controls, Chock and Side gears seem to be moving fine and it will change speeds. On the very top the back gear turns fine but when you engage with the choke gear it locks (see the gear in the very last picture) I don't know what is the purpose of that gear it don't seem to connecting on anything
Again the lathe has very good appearance for the age, but consider it might need some cleaning and a tune up before use.

Selling as a package I won't sell as parts.

Priced to Sell

If you see the listing Item is available"

This is likely either gone (though only an hour old as I type this) or a punking, but this looks like a great deal for $100! I don't have room for it, or 220 power, otherwise I'd be burning rubber to find out.

******** my 8 gal HF compressor!

San Carlos CA, $100 RAM air compressor

"Works great for general mechanics air tools...replaced it a with larger volume compressor needed to operate a sand blasting machine."

I picked this up off cl today, not sure how good of a deal it was.

Now all I have to do is figure out what exactly I'm going to do with it. Machine tool holders is what I had in mind. I don't know how i'm going to saw it up though.
It's 4'thick
15" deep
and one piece is 36" long & the other side is a bit less since they glued it together somehow.
I'm wondering if there's any kind of release agent that will separate them ?

This goes in the Garage Sale thread in General Tool Discussion. This thread is for deals that are on Craigslist for other people to get.

And then there's this vintage one too:

Craftsman 1/4 HP Block Grinder Model: 397.19501 - $50 (sherman oaks)

" This vintage 1950's block grinder is in great working condition, it's quiet and smooth; bearings are in good condition. There is no major corrosion or damage, the original paint was dark brown and center band was bronze/gold color. I'm pretty sure it will clean up quite well; using a hammertone paint would be an easy option as well.

RPM: 3450

Single phase 115V

The label is in good condition and has the rare Craftsman Crown logo.

I wired a new power switch. Motor runs solid and very strong.

Left side has a wire wheel, the right side 60 grit grind wheel (balanced & trued). Both sides have tool rests.

What you see is what's for sale. These are great grinders.

They all run and make power and have had there fuel system gone through and fresh oil changes.

Pair of 2 Matching Lista 4 Drawer Mobile Tool Storage Cabinets - $600 (valencia)

$600 is a lot but when you think about them being $300 each, it's not so bad still for me I would rather wait to pay less and I will. I need a 7-9 drawer roller but this could make for a nice work bench for someone needs big deeps drawers.

"Pair of 2 Matching Lista 4 Drawer Mobile Tool Storage Cabinets, both have scuffs, scratches, stickers, bumps, bruises, oxidation, Locks but no keys

$600 NO OFFERS / NO TEXTING / NO EXCEPTIONS"

Nice looking 'Dawn' vintage 5" vise for sale in Los Altos CA. $75, 65 lbs with swivel base. Made in Australia.

This is an obvious cousin to the well-regarded Woden and Record brands from England. According to the ad it opens to 8" so it's no slacker.
