How are the Phillips tips on the CMan Pro screwdrivers? Do they round off easy, or do they stay sharp? The reason I'm asking is because Sears doesn't sell them anymore, and when they round off I'm thinking they would replace them with Acetate handle regular Craftsman.

They're the best I've used, though I haven't tried some of the more recent stuff like the new Snap-On and German brands (Wiha, etc). I've had a set that's seen decent use for around 8-10 years, haven't felt the need to replace any yet, they've stayed pretty sharp.

If you don't like to carry around multiple pliers, I'd go with the ones that let you swap out the tips. Don't know if any of the Craftsman ones are now made in China.

Might also find these Craftsman Pro pliers at Kmart on clearance at a local Kmart.

I actually have that set that is at Kmart. Tips are pretty soft and they don't seem to carry replacements. I might have needed the next size up but I haven't been real happy with them.

Re: Sears.com. 10 dollars off a 20 dolar purchase coupon.

I had a $10 on $20 tools surprise points, and this $10 off coupon. But it was just about impossible to stack. After three days of searching, the $10 off $20 tools points expired on 04/06. So I just got coffee at Kmart.

About the only thing this coupon is good for is Local Ad Clearance. The problem is that I've already cherry picked all the good stuff at my two local stores, and they haven't put anything new in the Local Ad in weeks/months.

I found the way to stack the coupon and surprise points was to purchase an item that costs $20+.

Right, but the stacking does not work on Hot Buy items. You must have stacked on a non-Hot Buy item. Which waters down the deal, especially if the item is an overpriced retail item.

combined this with my $15 bonus points for lawn and garden and got an axe for $2. You could do the same with a sledge hammer too.

Was just at my local Sears and noticed that the 16" flex pry bar is on sale for $34.99, which is $7 off. I added it to my cart, along with another item for $11. I got the coupon code to work with it, but can't figure out how to stack my $10 off $40 purchase SYW points. Do I have to add enough items to get over $40 after the coupon code?

Yeah, You need to be over $40. I tried this too and getting over $40 after coupon was the only way to make it work.

Well, I went ahead and added some more items to get the total after coupon code to $40+, and I was able to use my surprise points. I got the 16" locking flex pry bar, the OTC hose removal tool, a picquic 7 bit screwdriver, and the 12" tool tote. Whoever the OP was on this, thanks for posting!

Thanks for posting this promotion!

I texted last week and received the coupon code. I finally sat down tonight and used it to get a couple of larger 1/2" Deep Well metric sockets that I didn't have in my rack. This coupled this order with the 90-Day Shop Your Way Max trial offer so I got free 2-day shipping.

This deal is done. Here is the message that I just received after texting "Thanks" to 73277...

"Sears: This offer is over. For weekly offers reply YES. Recurring messaging, consent isn't a condition of purchase. Messages sent by automated tech"
